June 2024 release of Substance 3D Modeler

Hey, everybody. I’m quickly jumping in to give a shout-out to the June 2024 release of Substance 3D Modeler. What does this release bring? We've added a scene outliner for better organization, an export tab with more control, and the ability to set subdivision levels when importing 3D models. In all, this gives you the ability to manage scenes, export with precision, and enjoy smoother models.

Also, a quick reminder that the Modeler public beta is COMPLETELY FREE (seriously, you don’t even need a Creative Cloud subscription). How do you download the public beta of Modeler? You can find everything you need to know right here.

The A770 graphics card still doesn't work, is that difficult?

This does not change the problem with the Mac system.

Hi Paul,

My Adobe verification request was approved, and I now have a Creative Cloud subscription. However, I can't find Substance 3D Modeler in the 3D and AR section or in the Beta apps. I see the other Substance apps, but not 3D Modeler. I'm using a desktop computer. How can I find it?

Thank you for any suggestions!

Thanks for the heads-up! Yes, I'm working on a Mac with an M1 chip. Adobe should probably use clearer messaging in their advertisements to communicate compatibility details. I wanted to learn the software to teach my college students this fall, as they are all Mac users. Oh well, sigh.
