Substance Painter 2025 Not respond (Steam Edition)

New Here ,

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a critical issue with Substance 3D Painter 2025 (Steam Edition) version 11.0.1.

The software was working perfectly until yesterday, when I tried to open two projects at the same time. One of them was particularly heavy and failed to load. Since that moment, the application has stopped working entirely.

After the splash screen with the dragon appears, the program immediately freezes and becomes unresponsive. I never reach the UI.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Fully uninstalled Substance Painter via Steam

  • Manually deleted all related folders:

    • AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Painter

    • AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Painter

    • Documents\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Painter

  • Reinstalled the application from scratch

Despite this clean reinstall, the program still hangs on launch and does not recreate the log folders or any user data.

System specs:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X

  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4090 (Studio Driver 572.83)

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if there's a way to bypass or reset whatever is preventing it from initializing properly, even after a fresh install.

Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, I saw I had some Windows updates to install. I installed them, restarted my PC, and now everything works fine.
