Unable to open even after uninstall and reinstallation + Update

Will stay on this scene forever, Cannot hit the close button. I began experiencing this issue. I followed adobe's advice, went into regedit and deleted windows 2018 key. I reinstalled from scratch. After updating and reinstalling it opened a total of two times and I was grateful for this to be working again, until it broke once again. It is incredibly furustrating as I have deadlines and work to be completing and the software is completly unresponsive.

Would you mind sharing your log

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Painter

so I can have a better idea on what's happening.

 

Also, do you have a particular workflow to specify? Using multiple licenses? Using a cloud PC? etc.

Mine looks about the same as the example you provided, C:\Users\gioia\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Painter.

My license is provided by my school, but this is a personal laptop. Additionally, I have not had problems with any other adobe application, including Substance Designer which runs normally.

I do have another update however, it is not a permanent solution and I would like this to be resolved properly.

It seems to open when run as an administrator. But it still does not open normally.

What do you mean by another update? What's the issue when running the software as an andministrator?

 

Also, C:\Users\gioia\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe is the location of the log. The log is a text file with many informations on your Painter's session. Would you mind sharing this file with me?

I was specifying that the application opens when I "run as administrator"

I have sent you the log. However, I have encountered a new related problem. As I mentioned yesterday substance painter allowed me to open it when run as administrator. I opened it up this morning to continue working on this process and am met with the image below. My file has been corrupted, making working on substance painter even when run as an administrator impossible.Screenshot 2023-05-31 092143.png

Does Substance 3D Painter open properly when you're not opening it trough a .SPP file?

 

The error warns you the project is corrupted. To be honest, this is the error you don't want to have. Do you have an autosave somewhere and if so, could you share the file with me?

It's alright, it's nothing that hasn't happened before. 
Substance painter does not open normally no matter which way it is opened, not through a file, through the file explorer etc.
