Good morning,

I've been using Substance Painter for around a month until now. During this time I've come across a strange behaviour ohappening during normal map baking. When I'm baking high poly model onto low poly it causes to cast shadow traces beneath the surface of my mesh.

Here are screenshots of my model and area of an issue:

Also settings i used for baking:

Adjust the front and rear distance, particularly front which determines how far in front of the surface of the low poly mesh the rays start to find the surface of the high poly. In your case it is seeing a different part of the mesh.

I experimented a bit and found better way. Names of different high- and lowpoly mesh parts have to match each other. Then computer calculates their spaces separately.
