Hello friends, Can someone tell me why my texture is coming out blur even after I have assigned a whole U.V tile for the specific part Currently the textures are set in 2k but I tried increasing it to 4k and saw no difference and I also assigned same texture to different objects with smaller U.V spaces and the texture is coming out crystal clear in those objects
Hello @Arpit24808636nxqs, Hi @Rukos82,
A blurry texture can be due to several things.
1. The project size
A small Texture set (256x256 for example) can obviously creates some blurry textures due to not enough pixels to display the maps correctly.
2. The UVs
This is kind of the same issue as the project size. If the UV shells aren't taking as much space as they could in their Texture set, this could result with not enough pixels to display the maps, therefore a blurry texture.
3. The til

I have the same problem

Its tiling issue, try to play with the values.
If its still not coming try applying different texture on the surface just to be clear is it a specific texture issue or model issue

I did another option, I applied another unwrap modifier in 3ds max, another artifact came out in substance painter, strange lines.
Honestly after so many tries and not solving the problem, it's starting to get annoying, I think I can manage without substance painter solving the problem in UE5
My texture of wood is ok, 8192*8192px

3. The tilling
When you apply a texture on a mesh in Substance 3D Painter, this texture has a size (let's say 2048x2048 for this example). Therefore, when you repeat the texture, this shouldn't cause any issue, because you're not losing any pixel. But, when you zoom in the texture, you will lose some pixels, causing a potential blurry result.
And for the artifacts your object has, this is clearly a UV problem. Probably some UV shells overlapping.
I hope this will help with your project.
Keep me updated.

Thank you Cyril!
I think that on large surfaces, such as several dozen meters of walls or floors, there is a problem of texel density. In this case, the textures for such surfaces should have very large sizes. Scaling the texture beyond the uv square causes another problem of overlapping texture.
I think it makes sense to divide these objects and surfaces into smaller parts and only then work with them in substance painter.

try manually unwrapping the model instead of using AI feature

Yes 3ds max is Okay and the streching in the Image is a uv issuee you have to fix your uvs

you have give very small space to Uvs and the texture you are trying to apply contains fine details that's why you are getting blur textures

Another thing to check would be your Document Raster Effect Settings. If it is set to too low a resolution then the textures may render blurry in your document.
