Bought substance painter in steam. It wont allow me to open save files

I have tried selecting the files and saying open with Substance paintet but it says catastrophic failure. I had the Adobes Substance version but I uninstalled it before downloading Substance from steam.

Could you share more details? What version of Painter were you using before moving to Steam? Is it the same version now?

I bought the 2022 version. I believe I had the 2019 version with Adobe before. Not 100% sure.

Hi, 

I tested the file you sent me with several versions of Painter on Windows and macOS without encountering any failure. Your halberd model works fine for me. 

Could you share a log? Did you verify that you have enough disk space?
