can i only use Substance 3D Painter to  bake(create) a ID map?

or if i want to create a ID map,
Substance 3D Painter dosent have the function to bake a ID map
and i have to use Blender to create a ID map first?

Hello @ZL_Prime,

The process of baking is basically the act of "printing" info from an High Poly model onto the Low Poly model. Therefore, in order to bake an ID map, the info needs to be somewhere on the mesh. It can be via the Vertex Color, the Polygroup or else. So you'll have to prepare the meshes inside Blender to bake an ID map in Substance.
