Hi! So I was trying to export my unreal packed SS, but the base color map is blank somehow. It try to reopen it and nothing works. I was on pbr alpha blending shader, all my previous projects exported base color map looking just fine, but I can't figure out what happened with this. Under the log, they mentioned scattering map, but I never click anything bout it before and all my previous project doesnt have the scattering map either.

*I switched around different shader and output template, but still it's blank

please send help!

Hello @jeurask97439507.,

Thanks for your message.

The Unreal Engine 4 SSS (Packed) output template usually needs a Scattering map (SSS stands for Subsurface Scattering). If you're not using the Scattering map, I'd advise you to try to export your maps with the simple Unreal Engine 4 (Packed) output template.

Tell me if it works.

Hi @Cyril Dellenbach,

Thanks for the replies! I tried to export it out with Unreal Engine 4 (Packed), but it's still showing the same problems 😞

blank basecolor map.

Hmmm. Would you mind sharing your .SPP, so I can take a deeper look? You can obviously send it to me privately if you don't wish to share it here.
