How to put Color into individual Fracture Space

I am trying to put individual Colors into the Fractures I created with the Fracture Brush.

I want it to kind of look like the second picture below.

Just for clarity, are you trying to put the colours into the fracture lines (light grey in your top image) or the spaces between (mid grey in your top image)?
