Hello Guys,

I have Acer Nitro 5 laptop.
Config:
CPU i7 11800H
GPU GeForce RTX 3050Ti 4GB
RAM 32 GB .

My query is, I have installed my perpetual Indie licence of Substance Painter 2019,but I can't open it.

On other hand I have installed new Adobe Substance 3D Painter trial version and its open and work properly.

So what are the issue with my installed perpetual Indie license of Substance Painter 2019?

Please let me know.

Thanks and Regards,

Bhushan.

I am having the same issue. The splash loading screen pops up and then instantly closes.

I have a perpetual Indie license for both Painter and Designer.

My Painter version is 2019.1.3

My Designer version is 2018.1.2

My PC specs:

i9-12900k

RTX 3080 Ti

64 GB DDR4 3200 MHz

Have you been able to find a fix yet?

Thanks!

- Tate

Yes, solved.

First of all thanks to the Substance Team to help me out with this issue.

Use this link:
https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015730007-Nx-Software-crashes-due-to-libeay32-dll-on-Windows

Download
libeay.dll for 64-bit Windows

And place in
C:\Program Files\Allegorithmic\Substance Painter

Remane old libeay32 to _libeay32 and paste a newly downloaded libeay32 file.

And it works.

Bhushan.

Hi Bhushan.  I'm having trouble locating the libeay32.dll file.  I followed your networkoptix.com link.  Once there, it says

  1. Download the latest OpenGL emulation library. By default, you download the MSVC package.
  2. Extract the archive to a folder.
  3. Copy the libeay32.dll file from the extracted folder.

I followed the OpenGL emulation library link to github.  What file should I download?  I tried downloading mesa3d-23.1.5-release-msvc.7z (as well as all the other files listed under Assets) and extracting it, but no where could I find libeay32.dll.  The only "lib" files in the extracted folder are libEGL.dll, libgallium_wgl.dll, libglapi.dll, libGLESv1_CM.dll, and libGLESv2.dll

Do you have a direct link for a file that contains "libeay.dll for 64 bit Windows".

Thanks,

-Dave
