Update to 8.3 Substance 3D painter not possible - supposedly no new version available

Hello everyone, hope you´re doing well. Maybe someone can help me: Currently I am using Substance 3D Painter 8.1.3 (student license) and I would like to update to the newest 8.3. When viewing 'help/check for updates' I get the notice that there is no newer version available. When opening the program the popup window for updates doesn´t show either. Any advice what I could do? Thanks in advance.

Hi @mynameissilke,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

It seems that your license comes from one of our previous student and teachers plan (Substance edition that ended during 2022, so 8.1.3 was the last one). Of course, you can still get an up-to-date student license trough the Adobe Website (link down below), to get Painter 8.3.0

Click on free trial > Students & teachers > continue > ...

Let me know if you need further guidance.

Best regards
