Will Adobe Substance Painter 2025 be on Steam?

Hello,

I would like to ask if the new 2025 version of Adobe Substance Painter will be released on Steam?

I would like to buy it, but it would be a shame to buy it now at the end of the year, when support for the current version ends.

I am not a professional and I do not make a living from 3D graphics. I just play with it for fun. Therefore, a subscription is unthinkable and disadvantageous for me. I would rather buy the software once and not be under time pressure.

However, I have heard rumors that Adobe Substance Painter is only supposed to be available as a subscription. This means that it should disappear completely from Steam and there will be no 2025 version.


Is this true or not? And if so, when will the 2024 version be removed from Steam? Otherwise, I would like to ask about the release date of the 2025 version.

I hope that the Steam 2024 version does not suddenly disappear on 1.1.2025. I would hate to miss out on purchasing your software. Logically, I'm waiting for version 2025, but I haven't found any communication or release date for it.

    Hello Tomáš,

     

    Thank you for the message and sorry for the delay in answer (I was in Holiday break).

     

    Considering the latest discussion we had, I see absolutely no reason why there shouldn't be a 2025 version of Steam licenses. I personally advise you to wait for the 2025 version instead of buying the 2024 one.

      Hi! I'm in the same case I don't use professionally and not that much either just to learn and for the time being, it was going to be a present for Christmas from family, so just waiting for news if I will be able to uptade my substance painter version and buy a substance designer as well, any news on when those two softwares will be available on steam? it currently says till end of 2024 and version 2024 so I guess it is still not there cause if I search for adobe products there is only one product with 2025 which not painter nor designer, thanks in advance for any info or guidance on the subject, cheers!
