Good afternoon everyone, tell me, should the AO map show dark zones or should there be no shadows from the relief of the sheet and the background should be just white?

Hi,
The settings you are trying to work with are the "Normal/height Adjustment" layer properties.
To create a transparency use the "Fill" filter.

You can find here some tutorials to get started and learn the workflow of 3D Sampler:

IMHO when you have transparent image it must be white.

Can you tell me how to make a transparency map, I have a black background, transparency is on, as I understand it, it should be regulated, but in the settings I found only Normal - Intencity (indicated in red)

And another question is why the preview images disappear, if you open the image, then there are no display problems.
