english is not my native language

If there is a place where the expression is unclear

please tell me

I know that there are a lot of autosub software now.

but what I want is

just like an audio book

I have an article

then I read it

I don't need autosub to help me identify what I read.

what I need is to help me, automatically split the article onto the timeline.

sorry, I am not too familiar with this aspect.

If u have the relevant software, plz tell me

As Trevor says, you can post in your own language and we can click translate. This usually works.

I can think of two things you might be referring to:

    • If you are creating an ePub and need to split the book into chapters, each starting on a new page. Adobe InDesign can do that.
      or
    • You are doing eLearning. Adobe Captivate can do that.

Is it one of these? If not, please explain more about what you are doing.

    我使用的是中文,這裡好像沒有這語言的討論位置

    感謝你們的回覆,我不知道這個網站有翻譯這個功能 XD

    我計畫製作一部影片,並且上傳到Youtube

I use Chinese, it seems there is no place to discuss this language. Thank you for your reply, I do not know this website has translated this function XD

I plan to make a movie and upload it to YouTube.  The content will be a professional voice-over telling the original story So I already have an article.  I just want to make the subtitles easier.

Because I saw a script with subtitles in premiere. You can split the article into a paragraph of subtitles

But none of these scripts can be done, aligning the timeline I still have to manually handle the timeline for these subtitles. To get them to the right place.  So what I want to ask is, is there something like this that can help me

Split subtitles and then automatically put the subtitles on the correct block

As Jane said, that translated nicely, and we definitely have a better idea of what you are trying to achieve.

It sounds you are using Premiere Pro?

How long is the movie, and how big a job will the subtitles / captions be?

What language will the spoken narration be, and what languages will you want the captions to be?

Will the Chinese language be a problem with the caption plug-in?  Are some 'autosub' plugins more suitable with Chinese narration?

I'm inclined to move this to the Premiere Pro forum, but I'll start a thread on that forum asking anyone with relevant information to look at this thread for a start.  I don't personally have any experience in this area, but I have a friend who is deaf, and on an international captioning committee, so  I'll send her a link as well.

When I Google Autosub, it shows me software that generates subtitles.  That does not seem to fit with audiobooks.

Can you link to an example of the software you are referring to?  The more information you give us, the better the chance of us working out what you are asking.

You can use your own language if you prefer.  What is your native language?  We do have some other language forums at the bottom of this page:
