recommendation for A3 colour printer?

Hi

 

Looking to buy a new A3 colour printer for small studio 2 people (mac compatible easy set up) - low usage, just to check magazine spreads and general graphics.

 

It wont get a lot of usage and not used for accurate proofing but need something with good type and general colour quality and not too much on consumables.

Any recommendations appreciated

Coming from a laser printer (konica minolta magicolor 7450) so not much knowledge about inkjets quality/comsumables etc

    I recently switched to an Epson ET-3700 series for my office.  It's a great All-In-One, mega tank ink jet printer, scanner & copier.  

    The Ink is 1/3 the cost of previous models.  When used with Premium Photo paper and High print setting, the quality is excellent -- better than my much higher priced Brother laser printer.  A+++

    Epson printers will work with Windows, Mac or Linux.

    If you do not print much, you should use a print service.

      thanks for that - I dont have heavy usage maybe once or twice a week, so looking for quality of print as main priority

      looking at HP office pro 7740A3 at the moment
