Speaking of telephone and Internet... Bashing Comcast/Xfinity seems to be a national sport... but MY experience is much different

Before this house (actually, the rental we lived in for a year while doing a major remodel of this house) I had used local telephone company for telephone and Internet, and DirecTV for TV

Rental did not have a good view for DirecTV, and since we were renting, I couldn't put a dish in the only possible place... so I switched to Comcast for everything

Local (Vancouver WA) service is very good... and I wound up paying LESS for Comcast 3-in-1 than I had before... so I am very happy with Comcast

And... I recently switched to their new X1 DVR and voice remote... which works REALLY well

People get dead funny about browsers.  Our Noel Carboni stopped posting here because Jive wouldn't play nicely with IE10 (or 11.  I can't remember when he stopped posting).  And yet most folk think that IE's main purpose in life is to be the butt jokes by nerds and geeks (which is probably what most of us are, even if we don't use Linux because there is no Photoshop version for it).

I quite liked IE, but moved to Firefox for it's add-ons.  Then more recently, I switched to Chrome because I was fed up with constantly stalling video on YouTube etc.  It seems nothing is perfect, as while YouTube works nicely now, I get an annoying flicker when making a long post than scrolls the post window.   Actually, I am not so sure about that now, as I just typed a bunch of returns and started typing again to test it, and it worked fine. 

I love JR_Boulay's browser graphic.  I shall be borrowing that for sure.

I would agree that nothing is perfect... but sadly Microsoft have neglected both IE and Edge in comparison with their other products...

Edge certainly has improved compared with its predecessor but unfortunately it has been tarnished quite irreversibly by how bad they let IE get...

A bit like that stain that never quite washes out.... OR.... the stink that lingers when you have tried to rinse and re-use an old milk bottle...

It's like Apple trying to get back into the gaming market for PC's and laptops when they have spent ages branding themselves in certain ways!

You get the idea!

Certainly the most "stable" browser currently seems to be Chrome.

Where I live squirrels help themselves to candy & meds found in purses, lunch bags, golf carts, etc....  If it's wrapped in foil they take it.   What they do with it afterwards is anybody's guess.
