I came across the end of a Voyager episode yesterday. The one with the two packs a day raspy voiced Captain Janeway. I have to say that of all the Star Trek series, that one does not pass the test of time. Janeway was unconvincing and the raspy voice now just irritates.
I love the Apple vs Android cartoon. It is masterfully done and remarkably smooth and fluid for just 13 frames/layers (Yes I had to download and open in Photoshop to analyse it 
)

I've always liked the New Yorker's subtle approach to cartoon humour, Trevor. The one that I have never forgotten and the one that put New Yorker cartoonist Bob Mankoff on the map was this one from 1995:
He has retired and wrote a book about it and the process of cartoon humour.

There's also the classic "Pilot Error" a friend gave when a gentleman complained that his communications radio wasn't working and it turned out he didn't set the mute control properly, which is something he should know before buying this type of radio or at least look at the manual.
That's the problem with everything being digital nowadays. No nice knurled knob that is the obvious squelch control. You have to press menu for 2.4 seconds; press up arrow twice, wait five seconds, press and hold the power button, at which place the transceiver turns off and you no longer have a problem with noise breaking through. You can't use the radio either, but hey... whoever said that life was supposed to be fair?
I have a PCR in my truck, and a half decent handheld, and rarely use either, so I invariably have to RTFM again every time I have a problem. Incidentally, my OCD totally prevents me from taking a picture like below — which was taken for a post in the UK Pajero Owners Club forum — without trying to do a reasonable job of it. The display at the top is a reverse sensor, because every time I was convinced I was about to back into the vehicle behind me, I'd always get out and find a four foot gap. When this display says zero, there is four inches between my tow-bar and the other vehicle's front bumper.
And to bring the thread back on topic, complete with a vaguely computer, content creation, theme...
As the Missus says ... "Wow, that is very ... creative ... "
