Total Lunar Eclipse Tonight (Blood Moon Event)

Set-up your tripod & camera to catch the blood moon.   On the west coast, it will begin around 6:30 (sunset) Pacific Daylight Time and appear in the south-east horizon.  Total eclipse starts at 8:29 and ends at 9:53 pm.

The red color is caused by Earth's shadow sandwiched between the sun and the moon.

Sadly I missed the event due to an act of nature. Thunderstorms. But then again typical! Always something. I did get to see one in my grade school days? Or was that high school?

Oh well.... its been awhile. LOL to the above comment! 🤭

Sorry you missed the longest eclipse in 33 years.  We had clear skies here and watched it from our front door steps.

Just missed because we had a random hot cloudy day... Maybe next time. I wish I got to see this

Are you sure? I thought a Blood Moon was caused by Buffy fighting a Vampaire swarm
