The Adobe moderation team is really rising to the challenges presented by the inundation of submissions it is receiving. My submissions are starting to make their way much faster thru moderation. It is greatly appreciated and makes me very hopeful. Anyone else noticing this??

What happens to uploaded files for review after a an account is blocked and then reinstated. My uploads for review now appear to be in limbo. Should I delete those in the que and then resubmit? I'm watching files now that have been in review for well over two months. My ban lasted for less than 10 days, so something doesn't seem right at this point. Would like to make certain the ball stays rolling. No replies from support as of yet.

After 10 days my account was reinstated. The problem was images where the key words refer to the style of another "artist". In this case it was contemporary sci-fi images which possessed a HR Giger quality. Although US Copyright law does not explicitly protect ideas or styles, Adobe considers using artist's style keywording a violation of IP. I have no problem with this policy and will strive to strictly adhere to Adobe's guidelines. I want others with banned accounts to be patient with the process of moderator review of deactivated accounts. I am grateful to be reinstated and so thankful I can remain a contributor to this great organization. I would suggest all contributors to review their keywords to insure they are not steering traffic to their assets on the merits of other artist name or implied mention of other artist's styles. Keyword your images as original works standing upon their own merit and you will be doing yourself a favor. Again thanks to everyone's input and the Adobe Moderation team. Remember that there is hope.

I would advise against creating a new account. I think Adobe would view this as attempting to circumvent or game the system. Probably a counter productive strategy.

Thanks for this update Matt. It gives me a bit of hope on regaining access to my account. Do you have any stats on how many accounts get eventually unblocked. I was exclusive with Adobe Stock and would like to remain so. But if I need to move on I would like to know one day. Until then ... in a holding pattern hoping for the best.

I agree. Still hope Adobe can see it to unblock my account due to any lack of savvy or due diligence on my part. I miss being part of the Adobe contributor family. I'm retired, but being a contributor makes me feel like I can still be part of something meaningful as an artist.

Buy all means reject an image if it's not completely within guidelines. It's bound to happen now and then -- especially when trying to produce image that might reflective of popular culture and ideas. But, blocking an account and seizing funds -- that seems pretty harsh. There needs to be accountability in the approval process as well as with contributors.

Let's just pray that this is just a learning process for Adobe and its contributors. I love being a contributor for Adobe. It gave me direction and purpose. I do hope they are sincerely considering all accounts they block. There has got to be a better solution for when a contributor makes an honest mistake due to a lack of understanding of IP and the guidelines.

Having same issue. Only I have accrued $1024 commission without requesting any payout. There has got to be a better for them to approach this. Why not just freeze the image(s) in question until deletion or compliance is achieved. I keep hearing that blocked accounts never get reinstated - scary.

I agree. Most of the submitted AI isn't being worked into a refined state, properly upscaled and post worked. I have taken the time to put in this work and have experienced an exceptionally low rejection rate of less than 1%. I am concerned with how cluttered the entire Adobe Stock asset collection has become with really poorly executed AI imagery. Too many low quality novelty images with very little actual commercial utility. These have really slowed down the approval rate. I am afraid however that if Adobe begins clamping down on AI submissions it might negatively impact everyone who enjoys creating generative AI assets.

I have had that long a wait to get generative AI approved, but I am currently experiencing my longest wait yet. AI is most likely overwhelming the staff because so much more can be produced with Generative AI at a faster rate. If Adobe wants to stay efficient in their approval proccess they are definitely going to have drastically increase staffing

So there is no standard license for video assets? / and a contributor can never make a higher than standard royalty? That's ok with me if that's the terms - just seems like that would not be the case - that a license would contain some limitation of use at a certain number of views.

Were an enhanced license a factor the royalty would have reflected it and it would have been labeled "custom" license in the activity report. The asset has sold three times with never an enhanced license. I'm trying to get Adobe to state whether this company has ever licensed the asset. If not I can at least pursue it through an attorney. If they have then I can stick to protocol and let Adobe handle it. At this point after getting replies from Adobe, I get the impression they don't really care or pursue misuse or unlicensed use of contributor assets. Hope I am wrong.

Does Adobe pursue use or improper licensing of a contributors assets? A major New York News station is currently basing its entire graphics package for weather coverage of 2021 Hurricane events on this particular video assets. The asset in question has not been licensed in well over 12 weeks and if it is licensed, views of this asset have well exceeded 500,000 views. What is my recourse if asset was not legally or properly licensed for use by this organization?
