Files in Review after account reinstatement

Contributor ,
Sep 05, 2023 Sep 05, 2023

What happens to uploaded files for review after a an account is blocked and then reinstated. My uploads for review now appear to be in limbo.

Should I delete those in the que and then resubmit? I'm  watching files now that have been in review for well over two months. My ban lasted for less than 10 days, so something doesn't seem right at this point. Would like to make certain the ball stays rolling.

I would wait. All my images that are now being selected on a daily to semi-daily basis have been on the Review page for 2 months or longer. I say "longer," because it's my guess the waiting period notice doesn't turn over until 30 days. In other words, I myself have never seen an image that has been under review for "2 months and 8 days."  If you delete and re-upload, I suspect your waiting time would be reset and you'll be waiting another 2 months. Or longer.

Where is "in limbo" situated? If they are still in the "review" tab, what I would expect, keep them there.

Thanks BamBam. "Limbo" is used as a metaphor here.

😂BamBam?

If you want answers to your problems, you need to be precise. We do not have insight into your account, so whatever metaphor you will use, it will need to describe the problem…

Great for you to have your account back, btw.

@Abambo  As a non-native speaker of English, you're probably not aware of the 'Flintstones' a US cartoon about a family who lives in the Stone Age. (Cavemen and so on!) Everything is made from stone including their cars!

Bam-Bam is a toddler, the son of Barney and Betty Rubble:

So the OP was referring to him - as a joke!

ABAMbo - Bam-Bam may have something to do with this!

You may have heard of Fred Flintstone and Wilma and Dino, their pet dinosaur!

We have TV where I live 😉, but I didn't associate an out of the blue Bam-Bam with the Flintstones. But, as you may know, they come translated into the local language on TV. And much of the original humour gets flattened out, other humour is only to understand with knowledge of the (American) history and culture at that time (1960+).
