Hi , Would like to inform that you may open both the forms in both application version. But you can modify the documents in Acrobat Pro DC only, as workflows for Acrobat X pro will not work with Acrobat DC installed. Regards, Yatharth

Hi , Please provide the application & OS version on your system.Also check if there is any application update available for installation. Distiller reads PostScript files (including EPS), nothing else. If you try to open anything else in Distiller (TIFF, JPEG, DOC, anything) you will get this error or one like it . You can create a PDF from certain file types (including TIFF and JPEG) in Acrobat. Or you can make a PostScript file in certain programs and distill that. Regards, Yatharth

Hi jamesbond10 , Would like to inform that you may use both versions at the same time on your system, but the PDF creation functionalities will be blocked for Acrobat X when DC is installed on your system . When once DC is uninstalled, then only you will be able to use workflow of Acrobat X . You will be able to open the document in both the version with out any conflicts . Regards, Yatharth

Hi , Please try the solutions given below for this Fatal Error :- Solution 1) (This error occurs when you have more than 1 process of Acrobat running) 1) Go to the task manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del 2) Go to the processes in Task Manager 3) End all processes related to Acrobat 4) Launch Acrobat again. Solution 2) Open Acrobat navigate to Help menu & Repair the installation. Solution 3) Check the file association on your system. Solution 4) Navigating to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\acrobat\shell\open\ddeexec\application and changing the Key "AcroviewA11" to "AcroviewR11. If issue still persist would request you to please check with the different user account with admin rights to replicate the issue . Let me know how it goes. Regards, Yatharth

Hi mielkman_1 , Please try the steps given below :- Go to C:\ProgramData\Adobe\, here you need to rename the folder named "SLStore" to "SLStore_old" or you can use any name of your choice. (Please note: ProgramData is a hidden folder and you may not be able to see it. Make sure the hidden files are visible on your computer, you can follow this link for the same: Show hidden files - Windows Help) Then go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache. Delete all the files and folder in this folder. Make sure you don't delete the SLCache itself. 3. Then go to :- C: \ Users \<user folder> \AppData \Local \ Adpbe \ OOBE ,delete this folder.
