Interesting. I tried manually correcting it in the same panel but it didn't have the same curve so the image just looked worse. Tried both directions (positive and negative). I've been shooting architecture for almost 7 years and have never had this issue before.

Wondering why the image looks concave after correcting for verticals in LR Classic. I'll attach a before and after perspective correction. Both images have the correct camera and lens corrections applied. Look at the top of the building for the concave effect. The horizontal line ofthe top of the building should be straight but it's not.

A while (a year or two) ago I set up automatic lens profile correction application upon import in LR Classic CC. What I noticed recently – after noticinf a barrel distortion to the images – is that the correct lens is applied but the wrong camera is used. The camera selected is a camera I do not and never owned. This used to work fine but now there is barrel distortion as a result of the wrong camera with the right lens being applied to all the imported images. There is no error shown in the lens profile correction panel. I shoot with a Canon 5D MK IV and Canon R6. For some reason it applies the correct lens (Canon EF 14-40mm f/4 L USM) via the Canon 1D MK III. Why is this happneing and how to I fix it?

Why when I import photos to a collection does Lightroom Classic default to "All Photos" instead of the collection I just created? Are there any settigns to change this?

Update: It seems that clicking and dragging the preset to the clip works now after loggin out of CC, restarting and loggin back in and launching PP. Double clicking the preset only applies the first effect in the preset. Doesn't make sense but at least theres a workaround.

Yes so the lumetri and warp stabilizer FX both work individually fine. They are the second (and third in one preset) portion of the presets that aren't showing up. AKA: Preset 1: lens distortion + lumetri Preset 2: lens distortion + lumetri + warp stabilizer Changing renderers doesn't help (was tech support's suggestion)

I created an effect more than a year ago to correct for the distortion on my camera's lens (a lens profile essentially). I used stock Premiere FX and tweaked by eye until everything was accurate. It involves two FX - distortion and lumetri to account for warping and vignetting. This effect has worked fine since I created it. It stopped working today when dragged to clips. Now only the first of the two FX that make the preset are dropped onto the clip. Tried relaunching PP, no luck. Tried restarting laptop, worked for a few minutes then stopped working again. Seems to only work once, then next time I try to use it , it doesn't work. No errors. What next? When I select multiple photos in Grid view and then type "X" or "`" for flag or reject, Lightroom only applies the change to the first photo selected, even though multiple are selected at once. This just started after I updated Lightroom today. Thought it was only on the second window view at first, but now it is happening on my main display as well.

My other idea for a workaround was to apply the settings to the brackets, then make and HDR after that. That didn't prove successful but I did notice something else strange. Nope. Manually adjusted the verticals. Was doing a fake tilt-shift look so made sure the camera was perfectly level when shot and only adjusted the verticals in post.

That's interesting... and also frustrating. One thing I still don't understand though: why would my manual transform settings also be transferring incorrectly if the issue has to do with the fact that he photo was flagged as a vertical by the camera?

When I copy and paste settings from one image to another, the settings apply to the new photo but incorrectly. Why does this happen? Video example here: https://youtu.be/g9Ouj2_UVYU I sent rough edits to a client with different crops. The client likes the one I am copying settings from to apply to the other image. The second image is an HDR that has rthe dynamic range I can edit to get the look the client wants. Wondering why the FC6310 lens profile was not shown under lens profiles. I was applying the wrong correction (the one shown below) ON TOP of the other one because I 1) thought it was the correct one and 2) because I had no idea one was already applied. So now that we have that cleared that up... why, when I click, do I experience a zoom in & immediate zoom out? Why do I see the "hand grab" icon (seen in the above linked video) rather than the open hand icon occasionally when I click quickly? [PROVE that I am clicking incorrectly or don't even bring that up as a possibility. I've been using computers 85% of my life and Macs for the last decade.] Yes this COULD be exclusively originating from my "system" before the click gets to Lightroom (finger-->click-->Logitech M585--> Bluetooth connection --> MacBook Pro 2017 15" 2.9 GHz; macOS 10.13.4 --> Lightroom 8.3.1 --> zoompocalypse), but how do I KNOW that? I am not opposed to that suggestion, but I need details to understand what is actually the issue so I can correct it. The fact is that I am still experiencing this issue and I think the purpose of this forum is to help users of Lightroom solve their problems.

You can also see the mouse clicks as I had that indicator turned on in the screen recording. The circle around my cursor is a feature of QuickTime Player. QT gives you the option to add that feature when screen recording. It is not something that shows up on my screen ever. It only shows up in my screen recordings when I tell QuickTime to do so. It is meant to help others see where I am clicking and when. It is commonly used for things like YouTube tutorials and troubleshooting. I included it in the video to show when I am clicking. That with the audio should be sufficient to show that I am indeed clicking correctly.

Please view the following video (I would have shared it earlier but I forgot I made it until now). I suggest having sound turned up so you can hear my mouse clicks. They are normal/fast enough for every other program I use regularly including several other Adobe programs. You can also see the mouse clicks as I had that indicator turned on in the screen recording. The video doesn't include my Magic TrackPad, but I can make another video with that if needed - just let me know if that would be helpful. Lightroom Classic CC Zoom Problem - YouTube Notice between 4-6 seconds I click once and the photo zooms in and then out. Same thing happens between 24-27 seconds. There is something wrong with how Lightroom is functioning and whether or not that originates in the program, I am not sure, which is why I am here asking for advice. If it is not originating in Lightroom, then it must not be affecting my use in other programs. That is definitely a possibility but I am trying to for sure weed out whether or not this is an issue with Lightroom or something else. It is very distracting and slows my workflow. It's a very stupid, small thing, but it drives me crazy and I would really like to fix it. Of course, the other possibility, as you mentioned, is that I just don't know how to use a mouse

Hey Todd, Thanks for this info. Unfortunately it happens on my Apple Magic TrackPad as well suggesting that it's not the mouse. Could it be that the laptop is laggy to receive the bluetooth info from the peripherals? I am not connected to my laptop via USB on my Logitech out of necessity, not choice - a result of issues with USB-C compatibility with this mouse (doesn't even work with any of my dongles or adapters!) - so testing it in many of the steps suggested isn't viable. Maybe it's time to find a hardwired USB-C mouse (do those even exist??) to further troubleshoot...

Still having issues with both my mouse and trackpad. Changed double-click settings on macOS, replaced batteries in peripherals, definitely not holding too long. Still extremely annoying. Feature request: disable click and hold zoom!
