Hi Uwe, "FWIW: InDesign 2020 is still not able to add a Note object to footnote text. So the workflow with InCopy will not work if you want to do an annotation to a footnote." It is a broken workfow. Track changes do not wok in footnotes. In either application. P.

Hi GG, I have noticed the same. I use InDesign CS6 for most of my development work. Launch time is quicker, altogether a much nippier application. The down side, I am stuck with using older OS, and I don't get to use all those shiny new features. P.

Yes, you will only see track changes iin the Story Editor. There are commercial plugins that draw the changes in layout view and print them. P.

Hi, I would like to get the user name that is found under the menu File->User. I have tried this. PMString theUserName; theUserName = Utils<IUserInfoUtils>()->GetInCopyUsername( ); Which crashes Macintosh CC 2019. It seems to work on Windows as long as there is a user name set. P.
