Hi Marc, For the example illustrated in your png the commutation would be comparatively simple. One would divide the path into it's 3 Bezier curves and calculate the length of each curve. Then one can compare the length ratios let's say for example the lengths of the curves are (0) 300, (1) 300 and (2) 400 = 1000 You are interested in (2) which is 600 from the start which would correspond to frame 24 * 600 / 1000 = 14.4 (purely coincidental that 14.4 roughly matches the value in the picture). Calculating the tangent at that given point is also not so complicated. This is fine for out overly simple case where the t (time) and l (length) of the curves have a linear relationship. I have no doubt you know Pomax's repo by heart and the above would take you seconds. The problem comes with the non liner relationships, ease in etc. they would make the task much more of a nightmare as one would have to calculate the values used for the effects. The approach I would go for would be to export the document as an HTML document which one could examine much more easily than the InDesign document and perhaps have access to the ease in etc values. What sort of script are you after? If its simple enough I'm sure we can help you on this forum. O2 is a kinder bloke than me. The scripting forums are for scripters, ammeters and pros, to solve problems they have with writing scripts and not for "Please write me a script that does a, b, c, .. zzz" They are a good place for finding custom scripters like the OP was asking. Creative-Scripts.com | Scripts and Tips for Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and other products Here's a quick guide for making a scripting request. 1) Be as clear and accurate as you can with regards what you want. 2) If applicable include links using WeTransfer or the likes with sample documents how they are before the start of the script / extension / plugin and how you want them to come out after. 3) For starters don't include links in the files unless needed. (It can be a pain in the neck downloading 8GB files which only need to be 2MB) It is sometime however critical to get the 8GB versions of them but not in the 1st contact. HTH Trevor

As the standard strokes are "standard" and haven't changed in years. Even the weird ones like Happy see What is the direction of the curve points returned by entirePath()? [See description for details] There's an InDesign Secrets on post that list the weird one's wouldn't be surprised if it was written by Jongware 🙂 You could just make a document with the lines and export the lines as PNGs and convert them to embed code if you need. Marc has a selection to PNG script that if I remember correctly makes an SUI image from the current document selection. You might find that useful. In short don't bother trying to do it on the fly just do a bit of prep work and you have a work around.

The callback is asynchronous so the second alert will not wait for the result from the call back. You need to use a promise. For custom command one can usually just the menu entry. I have done this for Launch Workflow. csInterface doesn't provide help for getting the downloads folder. One has to note that the "Downloads" folder is not necessarily the folder where downloads get saved. Each browser / app will have it's own settings. I think the Downloads folder can be defined as the folder that has the pretty downloads icon. On Mac I think it's location is ~/Downloads irrespective of the user language. Not 100% sure about it and it would be nice to hear some feedback on that. Hi Laubender​ On Windows one can read the registry which store the download folder by using exec when nodejs is enabled. You just either use RGBs that are double size and set the width to to size you want or use SVGs. Let's say you want an image 100x100px you make the rgb 200x200 and set width to 100. <img scr="my200x200.png" style="width:100px"> You can use css classes too.
