Hi, I downloaded the last release of air 20 which appears to comes out few hours ago. But the downloaded version is the same than the 20.0.233 released January 1. I don't know if it's an error in the release date on the main page of air beta channel or a wrong link. Let me know. Cheers

Hi, If I try to fill the (empty) Version field in the iOS settings, a new tag is add to the app.xml: </extensions> <version>1.0.0</version> </application> This creates an error during the publishing. Hope this helps

Hello I'm just reporting a small issue with the new Air 20. In my Flash CC when I switch to Air 20, in the General tab of the iOS Settings, the Version field is empty. If I fill it with the version of my app, it creates a publishing error because it creates a version tag in the app.xml that air doesn't recognize. In the other hand, the versionNumber tag in the app.xml is unchanged. This problem occur only for iOS publishing. Workaround is easy because I can change the Version by using previous air version or I can edit the app.xml. Best

I tried DaVikingCode/Instagram-ANE · GitHub It works but with few weakness in the user flow. I have to say that I have only tested it on IOS. First, there is a screen that let you choose between different possibilities including instagram. In my case I had also messenger as an option but it didn't work. So if I choose Instagram it opens Instagram and let me post the image with all the Instagram filters. When the post is done, I don't receive the InstagramEvent.OK as expected and the user doesn't go back to the app. So the user has to switch back manually to the app (with the risk that the user stays in Insragram) So it works but the user flow is not great.

Yep I have the same issue. I might hack the visual glitch but it still makes the app laggy... Not sure that it can be solved on Air side. I guess it is rather the screen memory management on ios the culprit. But this is just speculation. Right now the best solution was to publish the app in full screen... Not very elegant but less annoying than a laggy app. If someone has a hint I'm all ears.

I tried the latest beta (Beta - AIR 18.0.0.96) and the iOS app crashed during the launch. Traces show that the code started to The app is working fine in interpreter mode (air 18) or with the latest air 17. The tested devices are iphone ios7 and ipad ios8 both in 32 bit. Hi kaveri2, You can compile iOS on PC with the latest Air beta. You just can't compile 64 bit. Hope it helps.

I had a wrong launch image few month ago and it wasn't rejected. On the other hand be carefull when you release an app with a beta release of air.

I have developed an application for ios/android. It's on the stores (app and play). OTOFURO - Android Apps on Google Play OTOFURO on the App Store on iTunes Everything is working fine except with a user I know who was on a Android Samsung Galaxy S III. The first time he launched the app after the installation, the app freezed. After the app has been killed and relaunch everything was fine. He did the test several times and it was the same issue 8/10 times. After few researches it comes out that an adobe air app will unpack the runtime the first launch. So I created the same app but without the native runtime included and the problem disappeared. However distributing the app without runtime is not an option and a freeze the first launch isn't good. Did someone have the same issue? Any idea on how to solve this problem? Thx
