I have downloaded ANE from http://download.macromedia.com/pub/developer/air/ane/Binaries.zip and application packaged successfully without throwing PIE disable warning. Could you please to try package an application using .swf, .xml and ANE attached at https://www.dropbox.com/s/9ioyzixet6lyxkg/NetworkInfo.zip and share if you are able to see the PIE warning.

Which AIR 3.x build number did you use where you see PIE disabled warning? It is fixed in AIR 3.8 labs build http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashruntimes/air/. Could you please try and share the result. Regards, Nimit

Could you please share the Android device(OS version) , AIR 3.x version you are using. I tried with classic text input textfield(Flash professional CS6) with Android OS versions 2.3.1, 3.1 and 4.1.2 but could not able to reproduce the issue. We have not been able to reproduce any crash on Samsung galaxy tab 2( v4.1.1, kernel version 3.0.31-471788 , model GT-P3100). Could you please open a new bug report on this over at bugbase.adobe.com? Please include any sample media, code, project or app, OS version to help us reproduce the problem. Which AIR SDK 3.7 version you are using? There was a double icon issue in 3.7.0.153 which has been resolved, see the link http://forums.adobe.com/message/5243150#5243150 for reference. Please try with latest AIR SDK 3.7.0.186(if already not using) @ http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html. You can use StageVideo to play H.264 video. Also, use renderMode value as direct in the application descriptor. Hi, H.264/AVC (video), and AAC (audio) codecs are not supported on iOS devices. Hi David, Binding to 0.0.0.0 means binding to all available interfaces/addresses to that machine where as binding to 127.0.0.1 means binding to the loopback interface. The loopback interface should ideally not receive any connection requests from outside but only the local connection directly specifically to 127.0.0.1. Regards, Nimit
