Hi aianee, Make sure you create your shape on a Layer of it's own. Next select the area you would like to move with the Polyagonal Lasso Tool as Daphne suggested. Next select the Move Tool and try using the arrow keys to move the selected area to the position you would like.

Hi, I know that you can get a considerable discount as a student but not free software. I would advise going onto the Adobe CC website and selecting the students and teachers plan to see how much discount is you are eligible for.

Hey, As others have stated it could be a whole host of reasons... I would maybe avoid creating designs for a specific period like black Friday, as that design would only be relevant for a sort period.

Hi It is always best to create the design to the size and dimensions your are after, rather than creating a design then changing the proportions after. Especially in a pixel based programs like photoshop. Illustrator might be a better option as it uses vectors which can be stretched and proportioned altered without loosing the smoothness of shape edges.

Hi dbeanie, If you do not have a stoke box on a layer that you can simply delete, then a quick bit retouching will remove the box. Hey, I just tried it with my new update and all seems to be working as normal. Alt + Delete fills the layer with the with Layer with the foreground color Shift + Backspace/delete is to fill with background color. Cheers Sim

Hi, Like Dave said your settings look ok. Just a quick note, you can create a new layer above your image Layer and as long as Sample all Layers is checked you can edit the image within the new Layer. This is a non destructive way of working. Thanks, Sim

As far as I am aware there is no action in Photoshop or illustrator that will allow you to create a custom word photo collage with multiple images. It may well be a case of positioning them manually. I think Photoshop would your best bet as you would be able to position the photos quicker.

Hi, The short answer to the first part of your question question is yes if you set you PSD file to 8x10 inches 300ppi it will be printed at 8x10 inches. The dimensions determine the actual size of the file but we create a high resolution files for print (which is usually 300ppi or more) so that the image prints to a high quality. Our screens can only display 72ppi at a time this is why a print files of 300ppi appears just over 4 times bigger on screen. I hope this helps. Thanks, Sim
