Your screenshot appears to be from Lightroom Desktop (Cloud version) not Lightroom Classic. I recommend that you ask your question in the correct forum. As @JohanElzenga has already mentioned, putting the catalog on OneDrive will result in all sorts of issues. Avoid placing the LrC catalog on OneDrive, Dropbox, etc

Yes, the Library module. As explained above, it can be found on the toolbar above the filmstrip. Hopefully, first screenshot below is more hepful than the last. If you don't see 'Sort' on the toolbar, then second screenshot below shows where it can be enabled.

You may have tripped over a bug introduced in 14.4. If you have 'Automatically write changes into XMP' enabled, then this would explain the slow down. Try disabling Automatically write...' to see if it helps.

Placing the catalog on OneDrive or any other cloud service is not recommended. There are lots of post on this forum from folk like yourself who experience errors, loss of data, etc when using catalog on Onedrive.

You can also store a copy of the 'original' files on a local drive if you wish. However, you need to enable this from within Lr Preferences.

You can downgrade as far back as LrC 13.0. To do so you need to open the Creative Cloud App, find Lr Classic, then click on the 3-dots to expand the menu. Choose Other Versions, then scroll down to find the version you want. I've attached a screenshot that might make it easier to find.

Lightroom 6.14 doesn't support the Canon EOS R6 Mk2. Support requires version Lightroom Classic 12.0, which is subscription only. The alternative, if you want to stay in the Adobe ecosystem, is to convert your Canon CR3 files to the Adobe DNG format using the free Adobe DNG Converter. Note that the DNG Converter requires macOS 13 (Ventura).
