To be able to apply it automatically when using Datamerge you will need to use a GREP Style in your main paragraph style that will apply a character style to number from 0% to 25%. You can do this using: \b(\d|1\d|2[1-5])\b\h?%

You need to figure out approximately how many characters fit in your text box width/length and create GREP style that reduce the text starting at this number. It might be enough for you. But without seen the complexity of your file it a guess on my part.

I see that the InlineMerge always remove empty line. You can do this... 1. Add a character before the merge for the <<Sample Book 1> 2. Do your InligneMerge (empty line will just have a @ 3. Do a GREP Find @\r(.+\r){2} with nothing in change to 4. Do another one to delete the remaining ^@

Check if you have some markdown inside tables. The script don’t seems to be working when the footnotes marked text are presents in tables. I just did a test and the script fail at the end. Even with a single page document.

Why not contact Kasyan directly... even if you pay for it. The script seems to be working well on a long document (see my picture). Maybe something else in your text makes it fail at the end. He or some other script guru can give you an idea what this error message is about. 700 footnotes in a 365 pages documents

I noticed a change since many months in CC Library integration for Word & PowerPoint. For vector elements, I used to be able to choose between place as graphic or place as vector from within these applications by right-clicking. The option is still there but place as vector is not placing the assets at all. Is this a feature that has been removed? Or a bug in any new update or in Office apps? As it is today, the CC Library allow this only when the sources files is a SVG. I’ve been trying to get an answer for months in various channel about what is going on with this. No luck so far...

Your KonicaMinolta Bizhub Press 1052 probably come with a VDP software. Make sure you take advantage of it. If what you need is PDF, you can create them directlty from InDesign without creating a ID document first. It's faster. You will need to split your database in batch. You can than spit the final final in 250p files.
