So, first things first.  Creative Cloud isn't supported on virtualized environments.  Technical support boundaries for Adobe Creative Cloud in a virtualized or server-based environments Now your argument is that Acrobat IS SUPPORTED on virtualized environments, right?  Yes,  you are correct.  So how do you run the Acrobat which is included with Creative Cloud on a virtualized environment?   So, whether or not you are using Named User or Serialized licensing models you need to use a standalone install of Acrobat in a virtualized environment.  If you have a Named User then you will use the standalone Acrobat Pro download. This means no Creative Cloud Desktop application.  Now your provisioning or serial number will work on a standalone installer with some caveats.  Note, that there are specific steps for serialized workflows on imaged OSes.
