As an aside, for some reason the forum is not sending me the usual email notifications when someone posts to this thread or puts a like on my submission. I have checked and reset the pertinent settings, logging out and then back in, as someone recommended on another thread, to no avail. This started happening towards the end of the previous SFTW, then it worked fine for a while but has not worked on this SFTW thread. Is anyone having similar issues? ... View more

Thank you for the kind words, Trevor, much appreciated. I used the Free Transform Warp tool to make the perspective look reasonable and to improve the fit around her head. I had to move the pig's eyes to fit the new perspective and cloned the pig's right eye (left on the image) from the left eye, as the original had an oval shape because of the initial perspective. I made the shadow from the layer effects drop shadow, masking out the areas where there shouldn't be a shadow and then blurred it with Gaussian blur. I am not sure if the bit of pink you mention is the one on the pig's back? I believe that's part of its tail, it's in the original image. If that is not what you meant, then I believe the Gaussian blurring may have made the pink bleed outside the selection, as you mention. I am aware of ways to prevent this but I did not think of doing it that way this time. ... View more
