Ah that's because AE loads plug-ins based on the PiPL, without calling PF_Cmd_GLOBAL_SETUP first. In that case, we'll have to use a more subtle approach. You could mark your filter as PF_OutFlag_I_AM_OBSOLETE in the PiPL and outflags and AE won't show it anywhere, but when called in PPro, clear PF_OutFlag_I_AM_OBSOLETE from your outflags. This works because PPro ignores PiPL outflags and uses the ones in PF_Cmd_GLOBAL_SETUP.

Hi Gilad, I just tested the Projector sample on Mac in AE CC 2015. It seems to work fine, although the hardcoded paths refer to media that is non-existent. However the plug-in creates Compositions as expected. Here's a note on that in the sample code:

Hi David, Sorry to hear of your troubles. The path you provided is a little strange to me: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015\Plug-ins\Common\MediaCore\Red Giant Universe in that I wouldn't expect a MediaCore folder there... I'd recommend you pursue this one directly with Red Giant Software, starting from their page here: http://www.redgiant.com/blog/2015/06/16/were-ready-for-adobe-creative-cloud-2015/ which links to how to contact their support team. @ All: In general for third-party plug-ins, going directly to their support site is the most direct way to get help. However, if anyone has issues on plug-ins that are already listed as CC 2015 compatible according to the third-party, and you would like to discuss it here, please find or open a thread specific to that plug-in. It is always best to download the latest plug-in installer from the third-party and install it for the latest version. Their website and installer should indicate whether the latest version is supported or not. Do not assume that just because a plug-in is in the MediaCore plug-ins folder that it is correctly installed for all versions. For example, some plug-ins have DLL dependencies that require support libraries be installed in the same folder as the Adobe Premiere Pro.exe file. These will not be in the right place if you just install CC 2015 and launch it. Regards, Zac

Hi Ian, You can modify the Safe Margin in the Project Settings > General > Action and Title Safe Areas. There's no plug-in type for creating custom overlays for the Source and Program Monitors. I'm not sure what your idea is, but perhaps could achieve something similar using an effect plug-in. Effect plug-ins built using the After Effects SDK can have "Custom Composition UI", so that when the effect is applied to a clip and its header is selected in the Effect Controls Panel, it can draw over the video in the Monitor. You could create an adjustment layer and apply the effect to that clip, so that you could have an overlay over the entire timeline.

Hi Michael, Oh, I see. Although Extension Manager doesn't specifically name After Effects, you can use it to install extensions to After Effects. Using the Exchange Packager, which you can download here when you've logged in: https://www.adobeexchange.com/resources ... you can make packages that will show up in Extension Manager in the Products area under the category "Others". When you create the package, you'll need to specify where the folder containing your panel will be put.
