There is no easy way to do it, unfortunately. It's pretty much rendered the search function useless. Once you do your search, tip open the "more options" arrow and pick your forum out of the list of 7000 that makes it impossible to find your forum due to its sub-groupings.

If you don't mind grouping, then select and group your layer (click to the right of the layer name in the panel - to the right of the little circle there to select everything on a layer...), then use the align panel with the "align to artboard" button pressed, then ungroup your layer. [edit - I'm still using CS3, so I don't know how this might get complicated in CS4...]

That's what I was talking about, Ansury - I was looking through a week's worth of unread stuff and got to page 2, clicked on a thread, then clicked back to get to what should be page 2 but instead was page 1. Rather than dealing with that over and over, I clicked "mark all as read" and came over here and tried to make a joke about it.

I'm all out of questions. Anyone using CS4 have any thoughts on the matter? You restarted illy after deleting the prefs, right? If you restart illy while holding command-option-control-shift as it starts up, it will for sure delete the preference file(s) that are prone to corruption.

It's a font - It's bolder counterpart is called "boys are gross" (both were found on my teaset at costco! ) Not a good font for web design though, as the only people with it will be toy packaging designers that are currently working on girly stuff.

Can you attach a screenshot of a selected object? Are you sure that you're using the move tool? (the black arrow accessed by hitting "v") Is this happening to one object only or everything that you create? In a new document? You'll have to bear with the rudimentary questions for such a fundamental issue.

I have to assume the logic behind that is that, on paper, it doesn't unfairly favor anyone. Anyone could get overlooked for points or assigned points. But in reality, you end up with the "give me points if you like my answer" crowd, which tips the scales.
