A PDF will open in the editor but pages or only images will open as separate document tabs with transparency. You can drag and drop from the photo bin but the layered result will be a stack which looks nothing like the original when saved as Photoshop PDF. It will open in Acrobat Reader; not as pages but exactly as the layered document appears in the PSE Editor window. It may be better to start a new blank document and use File > Place to add photos and then copy and paste text as required before saving as PDF. You can only save as a single page PDF. ... View more

I don’t have any problems with Elements 2025. I attach an external SSD to my iPhone 15 and save unmodified originals. I can connect the SSD to my Mac and edit HEIC photos in PSE and HEVC video (MOV) in the PRE video editor. Hi Linda, it's  simple enough to use Finder rather than Organizer. Copy your folder then navigate to your usb drive and choose paste item.   You don’t say the reason. Your originals will remain on your computer with the Organizer links intact. If you want to delete from your hard drive to create space the links will be broken. Motion tracking of sorts is available in PRE 2025 as object tracking. It is built into many of the effects. For example click on the fx panel and search for transform and drag the effect on to your video clip on the timeline. In addition to motion and opacity there are many other choices in the FX control panel. You can use a selection tool (ellipse, rectangle or pen) to outline the object to be tracked. Then start tracking by clicking the play button. Automatic key frames are generated which can be edited if the selection moves off track. Also try Mosaic effect e.g if you wish to track and pixilate a face or license plate.   This is possibly the same as Premiere Pro as I'm aware many creative cloud users will prefer Adobe After Effects for motion tracking.     ... I agree the text alignment buttons can be a bit confusing. I usually click directly into the editing window (Program Monitor Panel) with the T tool and then select all (Ctrl+A or Cmd+A)   With the entered text selected (highlighted) I twirl open the transform controls and find those buttons work OK.   ... AFAIK it will work like Lightroom where access to the  Library continues, but not editing functions in the Develop module. With Elements access to the Organizer will continue indefinitely but the Editor will not be available. So if you activate in October 2024 it will work until October 2027 unless you purchase a new upgrade with annual new features in October 2025 or 2026. Hi Glenn I don’t think there is any limit when using stock photos within PSE assuming reasonable usage. There is a daily limit when downloading free assets from Adobe Stock in a web browse but it may depend on file type. I recently downloaded some motion graphics (.MOGRT) to import into PRE and had reached the daily limit after three downloads. I’m not sure Jeff. I know in the past only a few on-line sellers sold multi-platform versions. The new license permits users to activate and de-activate from their Adobe account as serial,numbers are no longer being used so I would have thought that would make different platforms possible like Creative Cloud apps. Community experts have difficulties diagnosing errors as App Store versions are sold as packaged contents rather than regular installations.
