Hi Srishti, yes, I’ve tried exporting to different folders before and that didn’t help. I’ll just have to wait until my copy of Illustrator acts up again and maybe then I can send over that file for you to inspect. Thanks for trying.

Sure, it's Illustrator v29.1 (64bit). Of course, now that I've prepped it to send to you, the Asset Export seems to be working now. My issue is that it's not reliable. I had to just press+repeat several times before anything happened. I've still uploaded it below in case you want to test it out, but like I said it's started working now on my system after several attempts.

I'm trying to export a PNG of various versions of a logo through the Asset Export panel (see image below). I checked, and there are no hidden guides in the selection. When I try to export a PNG 8, most of the time, it doesn't work even though Illustrator displays a success message (see image below). I had to repeat the process several times before one of the files finally exported something (see image below). I've reset preferences and the problem still persists. Any ideas would be welcomed?

Hi Harshika, thanks for the quick response. I figured out what the problem was. The position of the overlay preview when in prototyping mode doesn't seem to affect where it shows up when previewed in the browser. I just moved it to the top of the prototype and it shows up in the preview now.

I'm trying to use the overlay feature on a prototype but it won't show up when I preview in the browser.
Images below show the view in the prototype function as well as what I see in the browser preview.
I'm using a XD on a PC running Windows 10, just updated to the latest version.

I've tried your suggestion with the transparencies and Knockout Group but it still doesn't work. What Illustrator does is export the 1st 8 layers perfectly fine, then flattens the last 8 layers into 1 Photoshop layer. Is there a max # of layers when exporting to Photoshop from Illustrator? I'm using CS4 and I can't remember ever having this problem with CS3. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
