Dear folks, I am trying to copy custom created metadata from a project on my machine to another machine and that does not work. Please help!!! I’d even pay for the support here. Steps on my machine: Metadata Display Window > New Schema To that Schema, I add a property > For my client I created 11 custom fields (see screenshot attached) I fill the fields with keywords By adding the data to a customized field, the metadata is not only part of the premiere project, but it gets part tf the file. For some MXF und even mp4 files files a sidecar file is created. On clients machine: All footage incl. sidecar files copied Premiere project copied Opened and here comes the part, where it doesn’t work. I was assuming, that my custom metadata fields would show up in the project panel as they would on my machine, but they don’t. And I can’t figure out a way, how to make it work. As a next step, On my clients machine I created the same Metadata “Schema” as in my project. I even copied the XML containing “Metadata Preferences” from one machine to another, but it still won’t work. Metadata Preferences are found here: /Users/“user”/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/24.0/Profile-“user”/Metadata Preferences Does anybody have an idea? I’d even pay for the support here.

Dear folks,
I want to write a simple automation Blocks Script - but I'm new and am struggling with this simple task.
So basically I want to get the In and OutPoint from a clip in a sequence and write that info to the Metadata VideoIN / VideoOut Point. And this repeats for all clips in a sequence.
I got an basic idea, see screenshot and attachment (saved XML from automation blocks).
Chat GPT can help with logic, but not the execution.

Dear Averdahl, thank you very much for your effort! I was able to solve it meanwhile even with ProRes. What worked: I changed After effects composition background from a bright color to black. And FullHD resolution instead of 800x300px. Finally I started working with dynamic link and rendering animations directly through Premiere Pro. Have a great day and cheers Jakub

Hello community, my workflow suddenly causes me trouble. I render out animations in AE as PRORES 4444 alpha (typo, clean icons, etc.), import them in PP and boom, crash. It used to work for a long while but now it won't and I can't figure out a solution by my own.Please help! Tested on other machines, windows (with nvidia card, with intel graphics only) and on mac, it still does the same. Running on CC 2022 now, also I tried the previous version. Sometimes there are strange alpha edges. Sometimes it plays, but crashes later. Not all clips are causing the problem. But I could identify one and it crashes definetly, when you make footage offline, link media and when you have thumbnails view turned on - booom, gone. In case you want to try it out yourself, here is the project from my one drive. Any ideas? Highliy appreciated. Thank you in advance! Jakub
