Grown up humans are not children. This service is absolutely useless right now. I don't understand why we should pay a dime for it even if this strange limitation bug wasn't there. The amount of credits is a joke.

Well, I can understand that, but their AI should be better to "understand" what kind of children they have in focus. It AI "see" that there is no faces and a lot of clothes in this case.

It's quite impossible to upload anything. There is nothing in the user guidlines that refer to this image. It's just an image of three kids...

It is clear that you have no grasp of journalistic principles. To understand why an editorial image can never illustrate anything other than what the text illustrates, you need to take that course. You need to make a distinction between what is a report and what is a story or a description. In the case of stories and descriptions that do not directly refer to a report, then illustrations are used. When it comes to reports, authentic images and illustrations are used, but NEVER images that could be mistaken for being authentic. Now I think you understand a little better how it works.

As a serious journalist (or blogger), there is only one thing that is relevant - never to mislead the reader as to the authenticity. This applies to both text and images. The same rules also applied 35 years ago, but now it is even more important to be on your guard. This is precisely why you should avoid images that the reader may mistake as genuine. There are no exceptions to that rule, regardless of whether you have one reader or a million. The editorial principles apply regardless of context.

I have worked in editorial for 35 years and we would never think of doing something as stupid as using AI generated images to enhance the content of an editorial text. Editorial credibility would immediately fly right out the window. When you work with serious journalism, you don't use those kinds of pictures. It's as simple as that.

Hey all!
Now that the internet is flooded with fake pictures of the war in Gaza, Adobe Stock should be completely free of those types of pictures. I honestly cannot understand how they have managed to pass the moderators.
What do we think about this?

They review photos more quickley as some kind of signal to the suppliers that they should avoid uploading generative ai images. So if they think there is too much of this "crap" coming from us, why dont just cur us of, or make it more difficult by setting more quality rules? My suggestion is that if an ai images doesn't sell whitin a year, it will be deleted. And if any images doesn't sell whithin two years it will be deleted. Then the quality of the whole stock will increase extremely. There is simply too much of bad uploaded (and old) images there. So...treat all images in the same way, and go for quality.

Thanks for caring! I have tried to contact Adobe in every way possible. Immediately via the blocking screen, once via chat just to find out if something had happened to them, then twice via e-mail at one-week intervals, and today via the blocking screen again since their support apparently is not working as it should. Adobe is good at answering questions when it comes to finances, but if I, as a customer, have problems with their services, it's apparently not as important. It's bad business ethics. ========= Since I'm very careful not to get blocked, I'm also very careful not to break any rules. Otherwise, it would be incredibly stupid. Block those who deserve it, and let the rest of us use the service as designed. ========= As you can tell, I'm thoroughly annoyed by this as I've spent months filling Adobe's image bank with material they've benefited from. Business decency includes communicating with your customers or suppliers in a way that corresponds to the seriousness with which they otherwise present themselves.

Yes - for no reason.
There is no way I would have uploaded anything against the terms. The last 70-80 pictures consisted of cute animals. 100% AI generated material. All approved.
Total silence from [Moderator deleted private information. Please do not post private information like e-mails and phone numbers] for days.
Sorry, but it's easy to get conspiratorial when nowadays it takes a very long time to get the pictures reviewed. Could it be that simple that they suspend accounts that upload a lot of pictures just to catch up..?
It feels extra deplorable when Adobe bills me about $12,000 per year in license fees. Is this how you treat important customers?
