Well that explains EVERYTHING. IATAH in that I could have sworn your first image was in Edit mode. But it also immediatly puts the kibosh on my whole endeavour. I urge all folks on this thread to go to the Feedback Forum, here is the link directly to the Acrobat Pro Windows and Mac section. I searched for "text at bottom of form field" and got back 2 or 3 items that are the same as this. Mark them as Critical! If you need to give feedback on other products, go up one level in the URL. May the developer odds be in our favor sooner rather than later.

I've been trying to publish my modules so I can send as links to a shared network folder or post on our intranet. Sine the files are publishing as CPTX and not HTML, my users cannot view anything unless I run it, have it open in a browser and use that browser link in everything I send out. Painful. So I found the help page about publishing as VIDEO. Cool, I'll try that. Except every time it runs, just as the window saying "Your publish is successful" or whatever, Captivate crashed and forces itself to shut down. And I can't find my new published folder anywhere on the network drive I pointed at. See how it is cloudy? When Windows gets tired of trying, the "Adobe Captivate has stopped working" window comes up and forces the shutdown. Please HELP!

I have a group of users who generate PDFs in a variety of ways and they move pages around from one to another to create specific reports. I have a particular file, let's call it Report A - created on 7-13-16 with Acrobat X Pro. It is a combination of JD Edwards created PDF, with pages from a few different files added into it. As PDF NOT Portfolio. The day it was last modified - 7-13-16 - all pages were visible and printable, no problem. As of today , 9-12-16 when I try to open Report A, my X Pro shows me 6 blanks pages zoomed in to 4811%. When I try to put it to 100% - it gets minuscule on the screen. When I try to save as a Word document, I get the error "Save As failed to process this document. No file was created." Sometimes trying to open it other users have been prompted with "This file is corrupt". But wait, there's more. My users can convert Report A to Word using a 3rd part tool called Smart PDF Converter. That tool tells them there is a problem with the file, but it is still able to convert a readable set of the same 6 pages. What is going on in the 60 days since this file was created? It's not the only one, I've been sent a list of them. Has anyone encountered this? TIA, -Monica
