I need to create a slide that will show a box with an itemized list and a button. (Akin to a powerpoint slide) by pressing the button, the list will add one item after the other until the list is complete. Then the next button press continues to the next slide. My approach is multi state (each state is one more item on the list). A. Is there an easier way? B. Is it best done using an advanced action with: if "state" equals "list full" then "continue"? How do I get the state as a variable...? I cannot remember. C. Can I use the same button to continue once the list is complete? Thank you in advance!

Hi, I just changed it on this screen from the usual "submit all" box to the one I had created. So, apparently this "JP EL Quiz" button affected the colour of the pop up box too...I can´t be sure though. As always with CP9 I try out a lot in a state of anger/panic and then it somehow works!

Hi, I have a slide with multiple text entry boxes. The slide audio is supposed to stop after 10 sec. Once a button is clicked it should use an AA to continue the Audio and also display objects. (see image) Issue: The slide audio simply won´t stop. Even if I put in a click box that has "pause slide audio" checked... If I set the button to pause audio when "clicked" it does that though... Any idea what to do?

Whoops. Sorry about 2 times #3! One slide with 3 rows and radio buttons. But I might actually go for just a "dummy" slide where learners can click the buttons and then we simply go to the next slide showing the correct answers...we don´t use the score etc. anyway.

One more thing, I do have CPTX files that were created within CP 2019. The CC export function works as intended in these files. Normal black on white text in both columns.

Thanks for your support. I did not change the CC text when saving it in CP 2019. This is the CC setting. It works as promised in the HTML file so I am surprised that the exported Word doc is not as it was last time I did it in 2019. The black on black on black text cannot be intended.

Thanks as always for your help. Let me explain. It is a CC text I want to replace. In the original file it looks like this. It is important to understand that I did this procedure twice already with the same file in CP 9. The doc file had no blacked out text and the column to the right mirrored the text of the left (CC text). By entering the new CC into the right column I could import it back thereby having the CC replaced. So, this file with the empty right column in most cells and black text in the left is clearly not how it is supposed to go. I suspect it being caused by opening the CP 9 file in CP 2019 and then saving it in that format. It is broken in this case. I did it before and usually it was simply black as in the 3rd line in the image. The text is not blacked out in the CPTX file! It is just a standard text.

As I had done before, I wanted to use the export function to export all CC of a CPTX file to a Word doc to translate them into another language. These files had been updated from CP9 to 2019 (by simply opening them in the latest version and saving them). But image my surprise as I saw that the CC were broken in the Word doc. Most of them blacked out in the left column with no text in the right. In the past, every line was like the 3rd one here with the same text in both columns. Any idea how to fix this?

Okay, for anyone that needs to replace the widget. A. There are 3 projects in the Assets Tab of CP 2019 that give you a rudimentary glossary. B. I ended using the solution from the video (drag a zipped Webpage folder into a slide) as it created a scrollable window and simply showed a table with all the entries. Works for me and is a very easy to implement solution. Thank you Paul Wilson for pointing out that video!

Thanks to Rod Ward, I found the solution! In the respective slides, Change the On Success and On Last Attempt to Go to Next or Go to Slide (and specify the slide) rather than use Continue. That might speed things up more on the questions. I simply changed it to "go to next slide". That did the trick! Rather easy fix if you know where to look...(crying emoji).
