I switched to panic mode and revered to prior state 😉 But here the Versions: Lightroom Classic 12.5 <-> Photoshop 24.2.0: No issue with sticky hand Upgraded to Lightroom Classic 13.2 <-> Photoshop 24.2.0: Immediate issue with sticky hand in Photoshop Downgraded back to Lightroom Classic 12.5 <-> Photoshop 24.2.0: Issue with sticky hand gone. That makes me conclude, that (at least) Lightroom Classic and Photoshop are using some common drivers/files/configuration files, which are changed, when updating one of the two applications.

What the heck? I was using Photoshop 24.2.0 without any problems. Today I updated from Lightroom Classic 12.5 the newest Version of Lightroom Classic (13.2) and got the issue with the sticky handtool in PHOTOSHOP, without updating the 24.2.0 version!? So I downgraded Lightroom to the recent installed Version 12.5, tested Photoshop (still 24.2.0)... and the bug is gone! That convinces me, it's an Adobe comprehensive ecosystem problem with th drivers, which are used for Photoshop and Lightroom as well. SO WEIRD!

But what does that really mean for us? The bug will remain infinetley in the software? So I am stuck with version 24.2, which by the way is the least version to run the latest version of Lumenzia on. Just a thought: All of us here have Adobe accounts. So gather our email addresses and send us your survey by email, and additionally ask for our system info, that Photoshop provides. That's the purpose of that tool anyways, providing Adobe with infos to debug the software, if there are bugs. Then you can collect all the data from affected users/systems and find the similarities, which may lead to the solution. BUT actively send emails out to all people here, who reportedly have this bug! Many may have already given up on the topic and won't provide any info, if you are not proactive. Additionally you have all the needed infos in one place (best would be a dedicated email-address at Adobe regarding this bug) and your devs can look further into it.

And still no one bothers to react to the new posts here. Every other software I know and use, would get a hotfix within a few days. Especially the ones, which are paid once and don't follow a subscription model. But who cares at Adobe, what the users, who pay on a regular basis want and need?! 😞 First reply to the reported bug at August,01,2023: "The team is looking into, thank you!" But you don't really consider that a success, right? Switching off one of the best features navigating a photo and "only" have to restart Photoshop occasionally?! What is that sort of software, that requires to be reloaded every now and then? I am repeating myself over and over again, I know. BUT I want an recent version of Photoshop that's functioning. Spare those fancy new features and make the features, which we are used to, reliable! We pay valid money for that on a monthly/yearly basis. And we want the service/software, we pay for. PERIOD! Guys, I advise you to try to stop paying for only one month, and you are faster out of access to their software, than you can say "bug-bite". It's a shame 😞

As I mentioned before: Would prefer software functioning to the point instead of fancy new features, which partitely we have to pay credits for. And like in Adobe Stock (29,99€/month for 10 pcs. of stock media OR 1 (!) HD video is simply an impudence!), they are quite limited. Thankfully there are alternatives, which are much cheaper, providing the same high qualtity media. What a mess 😞 Photoshop once was my absolut favourite software. Every day I was working like: "Great, and I get even paid for that!". Nowadays it's more:"Oh no... the next bug! Now I have to downgrade again. Next time I will check the community forums, for reports of new or still not fixed bugs!" If i wouldn't throw away over 2 decades of knowledge in this software, I would have already turned my back on this bag of bugs! But Adobe is totally aware about them being the market leaders. Good for them, bad for us users 😞

Windows 10 ... check. ALL drivers up to date. No Cintiq. So you guys try to fix/reproduce this bug since the last 11 versions of Photoshop? Barely believable. I have learned from my early stages as a computer user, that's there is no "sometimes". 99% of the time the "bug" sits in front of the computer. After all those others have the same bug, it's in the software, Photoshop in this case. Adobe has over 2 decades experience in this piece of software and became the industry leader. Fair enough. But maybe you should implement less fancy new features, which can cause additional bugs or even amplify old ones, but keep the software clean and fix bugs first, before moving on to the next hot thing. For us users it's not only buffling and frustrating, but costs hours and hours of recherching, fumbling, downgrading... Time, in which we are supposed to satisfy clients and bosses with the help of software we pay for on a regular basis. We all know, how unsatisfied clients and bosses because of missed deadlines feel like, right? No offense intended, but get your stuff done, so that WE paying customers can do the same for our customers/bosses. Thanks!

Adobe seems to be ignoring/postponing threads like this in the community. How much longer than 11 versions are we supposed to wait, until getting feedback on a reasonable basis? The last "official" reply already has been nearly 7 weeks ago!? I'm fed up with checking this community every time before updating the software, to see if there are new bugs implemented or dragged on! I want to use the most recent version of Photoshop without fear of stumbling over the next bug, which keeps me from working in an adequate manner. Stop treating your customers like sh*t, folks! We pay for software that works, not for a bag of bugs, which stay in for 11 (!) versions! And stop suggesting to reset all settings! We have better things to do, than fumbling around to get everything back to a prior state... working as photographers, designers etc. for example to earn the money, that we pay YOU to get an industry standard software. But I'm quite sure, that's the problem. Being the monopolist. Found an interesting video regarding this topic on Youtube: "Why Do Creators Hate Adobe So Much?!" Look it up. Hi, I got this error after updating to version 24.7.1 Haven't been working with photoshop for a while, so it caught me quite unexpected. This misbehaviour drives me nuts! Besides the birds eye view (H) I use the move tool a lot in my daily workflow. Tried downgrading, following those advices in this thread, and I had even go back to version 24.0 (!!!) to get rid of this error! That means, that Adobe didn't fix the issue for the last 11 Versions of photoshop. REALLY?!? That's just unacceptable, if you ask me. We are paying customers and not beta-testers! FIX IT, GUYS! No wonder so many users are switching to Affinity.

Nevertheless the issue is with different GPUs from different manufacturers , and it's only with an Adobe application. Adobe is known for establishing bugs over the past recent years, while adding new features. So it's more than legitimate to search for the cause of a bug like this inside an Adobe application. The issue is only in Lightroom and with different GPUs. Mine is with Nvidia, the post I linked is with Intel. So imho the problem is Adobe's. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 is not an "ancient" card, so it should be fully supported, which is confirmed by the Photoshop Tool (see attachement). And believe me, I am in heavy contact with Nvidia resolving the problem, and everything indicates an issue with Lightroom, not with the Nvidia drivers, which are up to date, as well as Lightroom, even my BIOS. 😉 So trust me... I am not a noob to the Adobe eco system, using PS for 20+ years now 😉

Hi all, I have issues with the crop tool in Lightroom Classic 11.5 when GPU accelaration is enabled. GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 with 12GB Ram (System Info below).
