Here is a link to a screen recording on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOqlwCsTYD0) First, I'm using Photoshop 2020 to show how the brush panel normally behaves — I start painting right after opening the application. The brush is the last used brush. Upon changing the brush via the ',' or '.' hotkeys, the brush window advances to display the currently selcted brush. Next, I'm using Photoshop 2021. I start painting right after opening the application. The brush is the last used brush. Upon changing the brush via the ',' or '.' hotkeys, the brush window does not advance to display the currently selcted brush, though the brush changes. Thank you.

I recently noticed this issue — when starting Photoshop and using the brush tool (90+% of what I do), the brush window shows the first or top brushes in the palette, not the currently or last used brush. If I try to change brushes via the ',' or '.' hotkeys, the window will not advance to display the current or last used brush (though the brush is changing). I have to scroll through the window itself to the brush I want, and select it in the window for the brush window to behave normally. Is there a fix for this? Thank you. So I actually like and use the Ps home screen, BUT I don't like how my windows/palettes block the home screen (see attached) when I'm searching for particular documents. Is there a fix? Thanks!

Ugh... It's back and happening again. It seems like it only happens if a brushstroke is my first action. For example: I have Ps running on my Cintiq. Other apps (Bridge, Mail, Safari) running on my iMac. I switch from Ps to Safari with cmd-tab. If I then click on Ps with my pen and draw, it does so with no pressure sensitivity. Other methods (click on Ps with mouse, cmd-tab to Ps) of switching to Ps lead to normal drawing. I guess I'll try reloading my Cintiq prefs again. Thank you.

Thanks! I've tried this a few times with no luck (prior versions), but it actually seems to have worked this time.

This has been a recurring issue - when I leave Photoshop to use Safari or Bridge or Illustrator, etc., and then go back to Photoshop to paint, I have no pressure. It will return if I select a different brush or tool, but if my first action is to paint, there is now pressure sensitivity. MacOS 10.14.6, Ps 2020 21.2.1, Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 (6.3.40-2)

I (and many others) have the same issue. Turning off 'build up' in brush properties will take care of the big blotch at the start of some brush strokes. Aside from that, none of the tips offered by Adobe or Wacom take care of the random pressure loss. Several people have just opted to revert to Ps 2019. I hope they fix this soon. It's super annoying. (Ps 21.1.3, iMac w/ Mojave, Wacom Cintiq 6.3.39-1)

Sounds like the same issue I've been having since the new Ps 21.1.2 update. I lose pen pressure after zooming in or out on the canvas. This never happened before. MacOS Mojave, Cintiq Pro 24 (current driver)

I use Bridge 2020 daily and often use the Full Screen Preview (spacebar) function. Lately it freezes and I cannot exit out of the preview. Escape does not work. Sometimes, I can switch to Photoshop, and select 'Close and go to Bridge', and this will bring me to Bridge and exit the Preview. However, the main menu bar will be missing (see attached). Has anyone else had this, or know of any solutions? I'm going to check out the Bridge troubleshooting page. Thanks! Bridge, Photoshop, etc. CC 2020 on iMac 2017 running Mojave (10.14.6)
