It's difficult, because its such an old version of the software. But it sounds like you computers are pretty old also. Perhaps some Windows update was the problem. A KB could be hampering you. Also, you might consider rolling back some KBs, or if a machine has a restore point from 3 weeks ago. Etc. Are you able to install CS6, as Adobe decommisioned the registration servers for the old versions? If you have serial #, or some such elements I believe you can install it. Hey @Annika Koenig , another thing.   I can't change it w/out a mouse. Usually on drop-downs a <spacebar> press will open it, so Tab to the drop-down and <spacebar> - does nothing, I must click it.   For normal operation, open the Media tab and and Tab over to any of the drop-downs and <spacebar> and they all open.   I see now, once I change the font any time I press <OK> I get an Event...       ... OK, I finally got an update to 25.3.0 b13, Yes, you can change it now, but I don't think its correct. Find the one you want by clicking on the list, scrolling to the one you want and select it. (This works) The <OK> button now is working like an <Apply> , I would like an <Apply> button, but this is not it. By @Ann Bens Any way: my experience is once a feature has been taken out, it will never come back.   When I rewrote my software from Old  Windows to Windows 7+ I made sure all the old features were available, but in the new way. Some took a bit longer than others, so they were added a little later. Right now, I'm thinking this new UI method Adobe is working with, it maybe easier but not as flexible. Lighting up a simple text element in different colors seems so easy? Even the placement, at the head of the clip where it used to be, but now at the tail? Is that hard to accomplish?
