@davescm Hello Dave! Exactly my point, when selecting "Other Versions" to downgrade in case something is wrong with the current release, you can only pick the "base" version. In this case 25.3.0 and 25.2.0. More granularity here would be nice, especially since I noticed upgrades for same "decimal" version, for example 25.3.1 had multiple minor updates.   It would be nice to be able to switch from 24.0.0.2050 to 24.0.0.2010 or whatever code that would have.     Thanks! ... I have this problem as well, making this version completely unusable for my workflow. Is there a way to downgrade to the exact previous version? When I select "other versions" I only get 25.3, which then prompts me with an unremovable notification right on top of the documents bar, that I need to upgrade. Hello Adobe team,   Sorry, but this out of the sudden restriction is far from ok. I have serious issues with tool stickiness on Beta 25(and others with Lightroom from what I can see) which makes it impossible for me to do my work. I've been forced to revert to 24.7, while giving you detailed info about my problems, and now I notice this restriction when I needed Generative Fill.   So what do I do? Update to the same buggy v25 I've tried 3 times already and have my editing speed reduced by 50% due to a stupid bug, and most likely smash my computer to bits by the end of the day due to frustration? Or stay on v24.7, but when I need some complex thing removed/added spend tens on minutes on that?   Can you please have a bug-free update ready soon? Back again. It was pretty fast triggering the issue once I re-upgraded to v25.0. I made a video, please see below. https://youtu.be/cA0RCJDfm54   After the video I tried resetting the preferences, and the issue is still there with all preferences deleted/default. I had to re-downgrade, there's definitely something strange with this version.   What I noticed is that if you first have the lateral motion on the mouse then quickly press the action button (L Click for zoom / Alt+R Click for brush) it's almost always triggering the stickiness. Hello @CShubert @Caity.psd ,   I actually investigated a bit afterwards and found a previous post by Cory from about a year ago with resetting the preferences. I searched a bit more because even after reinstalling the previous version the issue was still full-on present, so the version upgrade wasn't the issue (or maybe the upgrade triggered something in the preferences that stuck after the downgrade?).   Short story, after resetting the settings the issue is gone. I'm still on one version behind to test if I see it popping up again, but at the end of day I will upgrade to the latest Beta. I will screen-record if it's back again, I think I have a tool to also capture key presses at the same time.   @Caity.psd I don't know how relevant this is without the issue present at the time, but I attached my System Info. I also noticed this limitation on generative fill, for example generating foliage/lawn on 8000px size aerials is extremely blurry if the selection is very large. I'm estimating the usable size to around 1500px, after that it gets soft/blurry quite fast. It's also a kind of blur that's non-responsive to AI of even traditional sharpening. However I think it's a technology limitation right now. I've been playing with stable diffusion run locally on the GPU and high resolution results are quite hard to achieve as they're extremely compute intensive.   I'm wondering if a future implementation would allow a "Local GPU assisted GenFill" for higher resolutions. The servers could handle figuring out what exactly should be there, offer you the current "preview", then you can click on "Generate HighDef" and let the local GPU cruch the data, even if it takes X minutes. This will allow Adobe's servers not be overwhelmed, while still being able to achieve a high resolution result locally? Not sure if possible, just throwing the idea out there. 🙂   ... View more

I'm talking about the "Select and Mask" tool after creating a selection.   It always resets to default even if Remember Settings is checked.    As for the remove tool, it won't remember the "Pressure for size" toggle, same for "Sample all layers". Hello everyone. I was really hyped seeing this: "Enabled Multithreaded compositing during Save operations to help speed up the save process." However, after trying to save the same 16bit PSDs that I work with I can't really see any improvements. It's still a very very slow process, barely touching 1-2 threads on my 16c/32t 5950x. I'm having the exact same problem, by using the PSUserConfig.txt it disables pressure completely in the latest update. Without any tweaks I also have the lag which is also apparent in plugins too (Viveza for example). Can we please have this fixed, or at least give us another way of fixing it ourselves? ... View more
