Same thing here. I get the error message and then it shuts down.

I disabled that MS driver and rebooted which put the 3090 to true. And yes, it seems to be working now. Thank you!

I just upgraded to Win 11 Pro. I installed PS Beta and PS Standard. I installed the latest RTX 3090 driver, creative version. In both PS installs, the panning is so bad PS is unuseable. If I drag the image around, it's seconds before it even moves. This was not the case when using PS in Win 10 the day prior. I've also tried turning off and on flick panning, overscroll, and some of the other usual type recommendations for this sort of problem, but nothing is helping. I have 450+GB of ram and 48 Xeon CPU cores, so it's not for lack of power or memory. I just tried skipping back two Nvidia driver versions. It didn't help. Okay, now I tried turning off the GPU features and turning PS off and on again. Now, I am able to pan normally, but the image while panning is choppy looking and of course I would prefer to have the GPU features on for many reasons. Any ideas, thank you.

Hi, I've used up all of my credits and I'm being throttled for my useage, which admittedly is heavy due to my project type. On my account icon, where it shows the amount of credits one has used, it also shows a "Buy Credits" button. When I click on this button, it doesn't do anything. So, I would like to not be throttled in my useage and I would like to buy more credits, but how do I do it? I realize there are options for teams, etc., to purchases the use of tons of Adobe software types to get more credits, but I'm just one guy and I only need Photoshop. So, I would like to just buy credits outright. Thanks for any help!

When I am making selections and using the spacebar pan tool combo, sometimes it works and other times the pan tool won't appear such that I have to drag the selection marker around the screen. It's very off on and doesn't make any sense as to why it works sometimes and not othertimes. What's really irritating about it, is you don't know the pan tool space bar function is not working, so you make a long selection thinking it's working, but go to use the pan tool and it's not there so it scrambles what you are doing ruining the selection you just made.

I play around with a lot of my nature photos improving them with AI. When I use generative fill with a prompt for say flowers or foliage, I get more normal looking plants. Granted, it takes many prompts to get something usable. When I try to use one of my own high rez photos for seeds to direct the AI to what I specifically want, it nearly always gives me some sort of mutation of the original photo. For instance, flowers will be extra large, too straight, or outright mutant flowers. This occurs even when I try to make the photo seed the exact rez of the spot I want replaced. I've tried everything size/perspective/distance, with the seed photos nature wise to get the AI to use it and not mutate the nature objects, but again, it very rarely works making the seed photo option unusable. Btw, this is true wether I use a prompt or not with the seed photo. So the question is, how come standard GF prompts give typically more natural looking normal results, but my own seed photos pretty much never do that? Is this a bug or a known issue that is being worked on? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply Cory! As added info, I've had the problem with PS for years through various servers and all manner of settings with memory at the correct allocation as you mentioned. I've messed with various history states, etc. Nothing has affeced the problem for me. There are other "gigapixel" level bugs in PS, but I've not brought them up due to GPs not being a thing these days. I work with very large gigapixel images. I barely can get started working and PS Beta "hallucinates" and says the scratch disks are full even when they are not. Previous versions of PS do this as well, but I figured I would speak up since you are developing PS Beta now. So, for instance, my primary scratch is a 2TB NVME, then other disks are assigned after that with terrabytes of space available. Usually just after the 1TB mark, PS will tell me the disks are full, even though the primary is not full and the others checked off and assigned have not been touched. This is true even if I use purge. I always have to shut down my work due to this error and re-load documents that take a very long time to load, sometimes a half hour or more. I can only take a few editing actions and then I'm full again according to PS, even though there's room to spare. The really frusterating part, is if I'm not paying attention, then PS maxes out on me and I can't even save my file due to PS believing it's out of space. I realize gigapixel work is not common now days, but this scratch disk full thing is extremely fursterating. There is no work around. I would appreciate deeply any research into this. Thank you! As a side note, my machine has 448GB of memory and I have the max assigned to PS, or the slider all the way up which equates to 365GB. Typically as I work my memory is not used up.

I noticed these differences between the new and old AI immediately earlier this year. It is really starting to bug me, so I thought I would upload some images to show what I'm seeing consistently in trees, rock, etc. PS Beta often kills texture and patterns, where the old PS standard AI, without a prompt, did not, at least not near as much. Please see below. Below I have created five images for comparison. Each image on the right was made using four different AI render sections of close to 1024 X 1024. _______________________________ This first image below, is from PS beta, gen fill with no prompt. Notice how the AI lost almost all of the textures and look of the original. I clicked through the options and picked the best ones I got on the first rounds. This next one below, I've used a basic prompt in PS beta AI, gen fill. It's better, but still, most of the original granite texture and look is gone. This third one, is from PS standard and is using no prompt at all. Note how it kept much of the original texture, patterns and look of the rock. This fourth one, is PS standard using a prompt. Now, we are heading backwards again into losing the texture, etc. In this final one, I used PS beta again, but this time used a reference image, the very same reference image as the original file. Note that even using this option, rock texture and detail is wiped out compared to the original AI gen fill with no prompt. What changed? I've noticed these behaviors over months and through many photo alterations. So, the question is, why does PS standard AI with no prompt seem to re-capture original details better than all the three other options. And, why is PS beta with no prompt just terrible at duplicating the surrounding area, but the old AI could do it? I would really like to see the new PS beta AI do no prompt renderings with the detail capture of the old AI, but at the newer higher rez. To clarify, I realize I could do more in depth prompts and likely get better results. The point of this post, is that with the old PS AI, I often could just hit gen fill with no prompt and get great results (at that current AI level). I would like that ability in the new AI without having to type long, detailed prompts every time.

I'm not sure if this would be considered a bug or not. However, say I've prompted for some red flowers. The next section over, I prompt for grass. Often, even if I do not overlap the red flowers, the AI keeps making red flowers even if the prompt says otherwise. It seems to get locked into certain ideas and then won't release those ideas. A bit like a toddler focused on candy in the grocery store. Lol. If I go to a completely different part of the image and make a new render, then at times it will clear it out. But, I feel I should not have to do that. The AI should just follow the directions given. Thanks!

Hi, I reported this error wrong. It is NOT the measurement box when I draw a selection. Rather it is the box showing measurements and tiny white arrows when I move the selection box around the screen. Sorry about that. I did not experience the problem in regular PS release, yet anyway. The problem mentioned has occured at least three times to my memory in PS Beta. Hope this helps!

Several times now I've made a selection using the box option in PS Beta and the little black box that shows the measurements of that selection, will at times freeze or imprint onto the screen and nothing you can do will make it go away save shutting down PS. If I make a new selection the new one shows the new measurement box, but the previous imprinted measurement box remains frozen on the screen. This is true if I minimize or move around the window of PS. The frozen box will stay in place no matter what. It seems to have started at some point within the last two versions of PS Beta.

I keep getting notifications of new PS beta versions to download. However, Creative Cloud always kicks off my household internet over and over to the point I have to go and unplug the router to get the system back on. It's done this for years. Anyway, since it's such a pain to download each Adobe update, can anyone point me to where I can find the PS Beta version changes in each new beta to see if it's something I want to download? I'm modifying numerous nature photos. Thus, I'm using the same terms over and over, somtimes single word prompts and sometimes combined. For instance, forest, trees, granite, river, creek, rocks, rapids, waterfall, whitewater, etc. You get the idea. Thus, I thought it would be nice to have a turn on or off option to have the most common prompts "remembered" by PS that a person uses show up in a drop down menu straight off the prompt input box. So, if this option were turned on, then when you go to input your prompt, you could hover over the prompt input box and down would come say your last ten prompts you used starting with the highest use one. For some people who do the same sort of work repeatedly, I'm sure this would be much appreciated. And while I have your attention. Just so you know, in the beta, I'm getting a LOT of wrong prompts. Such as water = birds. trees = giraffes and big cats, rocks = lizards and snakes, and so on. I've never had a negative prompt work for me once. Sometimes, once the AI gets in say water = birds mode, then I can't get it to stop even with a new prompt, without either completely re-drawing the selection or moving on to somewhere else. I'm also at times getting a lot of shapes I never got in the old version. For instance, typing trees for a prompt I get a green square, then a circle, etc.

I didn't realize at first one could not use PS Beta AI for commercial work. So, I did a bunch of work for hours on end that is now a giant waste of time I guess. My question, to an Adobe employee that knows for sure on this, as I don't want legal problems. If I have "beta" generative layers in my image, and then later use PS final version to build on top of those layers using the beta imagery as my building pattern, then will I be okay? Or, is having any beta imagery even layered under new PS final versions going to get me in hot water? In other words, do I just have to start new files completely from scatch to avoid any issues? Also, how long typically is the journey from beta to final release? Weeks, months?

I've been trying out the new PS AI as of April 2024. The new resolution and higher quality image that comes in from prompts is great. Although I still get a lot of crazy stuff, random people, animals, trains, etc., that don't make any sense in the context asked for. Some of the new imagery is a bit heavy on the "dot" patterns. I assume this is from Stable Diffusion rendering? Overall though, much better in some regards. However, my big problem with the new AI is the plain old generative fill. (no prompt) It does not seem to blend trees, flowers, rocks, etc., near as well as the previous version. I get haze, artifiacts, smears, mangled details, etc., far more than in the other version.

That's the page I'm talking about that I read. The pertinent part is listed below. I've bolded the part where it says you can buy these add on plans, but where do you do that? I've scoured every inch of every aspect of my account and do not see this option, unless I'm blind. "What is the Generative Credits Add-on plan? The Generative Credits Add-on plan allows you to increase the number of monthly generative credits. You may purchase multiple Generative Credits Add-on plans and the number of generative credits will be additive to the existing number of generative credits in the underlying subscription. The monthly renewal day for each of the Generative Credits Add-on plans will be associated with the start date for each plan purchased. The Generative Credits Add-on plan can only be added to an existing paid plan. Free Creative Cloud, Adobe Firefly, and Adobe Express users can subscribe to a new paid plan to continue creating Firefly-powered assets."
