Hi @e.reed.rogers,
I checked the PNG file you shared, and while reviewing its properties, I noticed that the image format is actually JPEG. After changing the file extension to JPEG, the Bridge successfully displayed the thumbnail and preview.
Could you try this on your end and let me know if it works for you?

Are you able to launch Photo Downloader without connecting iPhone or it is crashing on launch?

If you are on windows, you can try this as a workaround -
Launch APD
Browse folder dialog opens
by default all the folders get selected
Select one of the folder (see the sample screenshot)
Click on Get Media button

Thanks for sharing the details.
Please try the following steps -
Go to your System Preferences
Select Security & Privacy
Select the Full Disk Access option
Click on the "+" symbol and provide the admin permission
This will open Mac window, add Adobe Bridge 2024 application to get the full access.
Adobe Bridge 2024 will be added and make sure it's enabled
Select Security & Privacy
Select Files and Folders option
Select Adobe Bridge 2024
Enable all the folders and volumes
Please try and let us know if this resolves the issue or not.

Please check in activity monitor, whether dynamiclinkmediaserver process is running or not
