Sean, renaming ActiveX folders (including WCIEActiveX) to [name].OLD works on Acrobat. You do not need to install Reader at all for a resolution. The only thing I might be excluding in my steps is that I actually did install the Adobe patch as well. So, that might be required too? But according to @HNVF they programatically did this across 2500 workstations WITHOUT installing the patch with success. ... View more

Thanks. This was the ONLY solution that worked. Ridiculous that Adobe releases a hotfix on the 23rd (which doesn't fix Acrobat only Reader, despite them having both hotfixes available for download), and now -- on the 29th, they STILL have completely ignored the multiple other comments on this thread saying that the Acrobat hotfix DOESN'T WORK and still haven't addressed the issue or given an ETA for a working hotfix.
