Hi, Simononster! I think I might have been having the same problem. I was looking for the bar with the File, Edit, Image, Layer, Type, etc dropdown menus, but they were not at the top of my photoshop window.   I accidentally put my mouse at the top of the macbook screen, and the menu bar I had been looking for dropped down from the top of the screen. I also would like to get rid of this floating toolbar that has never been there before, but it doesn't have the far right icon shown in the helpful answers I've been able to find. Does anyone have a tip for disabling it?   Here's a screengrab of the one I'm seeing:   ... View more
