Yeah its frustrating that they had it in the Beta preceding v26 but then never actually included it when they released v26. It's like saying 'Hey here's a concept car and we're gonna add this newfangled Steering Wheel thingy' and then they release the car without one.

I just downloaded the 26.2 Beta and the Image Reference button for Generative Fills is there. Guess I will just have to Beta for now. I dont know why this is not in v26 (Photoshop 2025).

How does one do this in Photoshop 2025? In the preceding beta, you selected an area and then could upload a Reference Image before inputting your Prompt. The option to upload a Reference Image seems to have been removed in PS2025.

I think Ive posted here before about my general lack of understanding for Color Management so please refrain from responding with any 'Jeez what a tool!' comments. I work for a product manufacturer and my team is responsible for creating renders of our products which we do in Cinema 4D. We composite and finish these renders in Photoshop, working in sRGB. Like any product, ours come in many colors and finishes. Our results are shared for feedback via Adobe Workfront where anything up to half a dozen people can review the images and comment. Now when we are finishing the images in Photoshop we are doing so on BenQ PD2705U monitors which are factory calibrated so we dont fiddle with them. We match the images to actual product samples under D50 lighting conditions. The problem is our reviewers are looking at our images on a multitude of different screens, some pretty good and some are abysmal. They are sitting in rooms with yellow sunlight pouring in and holding product samples, then telling us our images are not yellow enough. I try to explain about color contamination and such but for the most part, people are not interested and just say 'fix it'. I cannot be the only person encountering this issue so would love to hear from folks who have conquered these challenges and how they did it. Should we be using something like OCIO/ACES? Should we be proofing in a different way? Cheers Sean

What?! No. I'm talking about a simple label below each image saying what the dimensions are.

We currently make Contact Sheets in Adobe Bridge using the Output tab. It works great but I would love if we could somehow display the actual dimensions of the image in the Contact Sheet. Not the dimensions as it appears on the page but the the dimensions of the source image.

EXR-IO is the gold standard of EXR plugins. BUT...it is Windows only hence my specificity about Mac in my original post.

OpenEXR - as stated further up in the thread, this does not provide what 3D artists require from EXRs EXRKit - cannot find this anywhere but if it's for FCP what good is that for PS users EXRDisplay/Imath - again too simplistic and dont provide what 3D artists need. So back to square one.

OK, first of all thanks to all responders for their answers and patience. Ive been working with these files for 5 years and this is the first time I have had issues like this so assumed the color shifts had something to do with the source files which were coming in as "Linear' (see earlier in the conversation if you are just coming to the party). To answer the layers question, we have always provided layered PSDs to the prodction artists who put these images on the packaging. This is because they like to turn the Shadows and Reflections ON and OFF (as needed) in InDesign which is apparently possible but I dont use InDesign so cannot comment. The images also need transparency so they can be placed on different backgrounds in the layout. I guess I will have to think of a workaround for that, any suggestions welcome. I clearly need to understand Assign vs Convert and am trying to but frankly 'colot' just messes with my small brain.

Sorry DigitalDog, I'm confused, the image on the right is sRGB with the GRACol softproof applied. The image on the left is CMYK with the GRACol profile assigned

So I tried the SoftProofing and did a side-by-side comparison with a conversion to CMYK/Assign GRACol. Weirdly the SoftProofing does not show the color shift.

Great tip, thanks Stephen and DigiDog. The screenshot you converted to GraCOL will not show a drastic shift because that is a flat image. In my original image the Reflection and the Shadow are on layers. There is something about the layers which is casuing the shift.

So converting to sRGB does indeed produce no visual change so I cannot thank you all enough for this. However, after doing all our retouching in RGB, our workflow then calls for us to merge layers, rasterize smartobjects etc and convert to CMYK GraCOL. I know that colors can shift when doing this but I'm a little puzzled why the Relection in my scene is shifting so much dramatically than the actual product which is essentially made up of the same colors. sRGB: CMYK:

Let me start by saying I struggle to understand color profiling and such so this question may seem obvious to some of the more enlightend amongst you. I am processing 3D renders that are coming to me as 16-bit TIFFs in Linear Color Space. When I assign sRGB to the images they get very dark. For confidentiality reasons I cannot sure much more of the image I am afraid. Is there a method to assign/convert to sRGB without this dramatic color shift?

Does anyone know of a quality EXR plugin for the Mac (something like EXR-IO which is Windows only)? ProEXR has not been updated for almost a year and OpenEXR is simply awful.
