Santa got me a 32" monitor for Christmas 2023- something to consider. The average viewsonic 32" monitor on amazon right now is $139. This is a screenshot from my 32" monitor, I have zero complaints.

" I want to use my hardware and brain to better modify my photos." Why would you purchase the image editor and the video editor together? " I definitely do not need a supposed "AI" to do it for me. I am capable of doing it the way I want, not the way you want. " Again, I have to ask: Why would you even purchase the software then? In PSE some of it is in fact AI, but mostly it's just a bunch of fancy actions. "Your software and methods are too clunky and awkward to use and not worth the effort. " Lots of options out there. Photoshop? $14 a month for new users. Lots of free programs... Not worth the effort? How exactecly would you know that if you haven't used the software? Photoshop elements is extremly well documented by Adobe, and users such as myself. Hundreds of videos on youtube, thousands of hours of instruction, and of course this user to user forum. At one point you had to decide "I'm done"- do you have any idea what point that was?

It was distributed on DVD dvd 1 and 2 was for windows, DVD 3 was for mac. Why on Two dvd's for windows? I think it was a feeble attempt at copy protection--- halfway thru the installation you would be required to swap out dvd's to continue the installation, the reinsert dvd #1 to finish up the installation. I would have to check my last dvd (PSE 2018- I keep just for extreme emergencies- but I oculd probably jsut toss it- all that stuff is in m yadobe account anyway) but I seem to recall the DVD containing under 4GB of data.

"One must first click the "shrink/resize" button, then the window can be moved." That is pretty much the way it is with all windows apps. You can drag browser tabs to a second screen, but you can't drag apps when the are in full screen.

Yes. 1. Start the editor 2. log out of the editor. Then unistall it. As long as you had pse 2025 import your catalogs from pse 2023 you should have no problem.

Adobe stopped doing that Jun 2024. There is basically nothing you can do. Here is a 7 day trial for the latest version. https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/free-trial.html?sdid=WB99JHFM&mv=search&mv2=paidsearch&utm_campaign=cv-nwmp-ae2024&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_content=AE2025&utm_term=photoshop%20elements%20trial&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAwtu9BhC8ARIsAI9JHalrJ8vJGfRzE2zo6qt2hgpm9xwcqUndcqLIEpDYnVDpFQfSB7mK1VYaAhsgEALw_wcB

I've tried uploading my own images, and still could not find out the size of an image. I seem to recall you could do it, but right now finding out the size of an image is not possible. I do think it's a program bug.

Yes I understand now. I just spent 10 minutes trying to find out the size of an image with right mouse clicking sanf check all image options: I would have to say as of now that it cannot be done. David mentions stuff about size- but that applies to the over-all design size. In dealing with logos on my website when I use to sell image sets I made I had mutliple size logos for different things (product pages vs an information page on the website), and different themes of logos. You would have one logo for a business card, and a slightly different one for a social media post.

You can basically do the same thing using the custom shape tool- it's how I've always done it. Draw the custom shape using the custom shape selection. Select the text tool. CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE TEXT BEFORE YOU TYPE ANYTHING. Type your text.

Adobe error 11 is an installation error that occurs when more than one instance of the Adobe Application Manager is running. To fix this error, you can quit any additional instances of the application and restart your computer. With windows computers this can happen when not all background processes associated with the installation are not closed out. Users will often try another installation- but those background processes are still running. Rebooting will clear all that, then you should be able to install with no issues.

It's version 19, but is called "Photoshop Elements 2021": Prior to PSE 2024 versions and year released was always two off. 20210807 the date is the year, month, and day that version was finalized. Typically two weeks later that version gets released to the public. You wouldn't like my answer about NAS drives so I will others fill you in on that.

Your first screenshot is pretty useless. You failed to show what we need to see. All screenshots should look like mine, they show eveything. You can't customize the toolbar as you can in Photoshop, you have tool options as Andrei pointed out. My screenshot is from pse 2025-- pretty much the same as your version. The arrows point to kebobs (That's what the three dots are called) you can click on to do things with) you can click on.

Student, and teacher liscenses are dependant upon two things: 1. The agreement your school has. If the institution did not pay, or cancelled their agreement with Adobe- then users associated with that insitution would be suspended. FOR EXAMPLE: emelyPP@dogandpony.edu could be your login. That login (your school credentials) would simply be locked out becouase your school did not continue with their agreement for Adobe products. The District where I teach has a sweet deal with Adobe: login with your school credentials and you get access to all Adob Products. Rougly 60 days after I retire all my access using my school credentials would be suspended. 2. You are no longer a student. My experience with this is from the student side- about 30 days after you are done being a student, you simply lose the right to use the software. This sounds (if you are still a student) that you need to contact your school IT folks and ask them about the schools Adobe usage agreement.

Yes it can transfer over. Open the editor on the old computer. Log out of it, then uninstall it BEFORE you get a new computer. You don't need to get a new computer because of the windows 10 end of support coming in October. You will be able to pay for extended support. It's what I plan on doing.

I've allways told users that every 300ppi at 72 ppi will print 1" at 300 dpi. Printing something commercially? Tripple the size of your final graphic. FOR EXAMPLE: Your square final graphic will be printed in some book, or a zazzle tee shirt at 500ppi (PPI is for screens, DPI is for printers) for the final print size, then your working image with AE should be 1500ppi square. Commercial printers really like 300ppi. Trippling the size of the final needed image will allow that to happen, and the printing softwarre will think it's a 300ppi image, when it is not.

" I was wondering if Adobe offers any discounts on Photoshop for individuals like me who are trying to get back on their feet." Facebook and the AI stuff has just about killed the idea of people "making some side hustle money" using photoshop-- with one exception: You better be an expert at photoshop right now, other than that is simply won't happen. It would be unrealistic to think "I can learn photoshop, and make money with it later." Why pay for it when you can get it done for free in some facebook group, or even using the AI stuff in Photoshop?

It's impossible for the basic install of PSE 2025 to take up 10GB of space. At the most, even if Adobe camera raw is installed you are only looking ar about 4GB, definately not 10GB. Start the editor. LOG OUT OF IT. CLOSE ALL ADOBE APPS. Open Finder: Launch the Finder application. Navigate to Applications: In the sidebar, click on "Applications". Select the app: Click on the app you want to uninstall. Move to Trash: Drag the app icon to the Trash icon in the Dock, or right-click and choose "Move to Trash". Empty Trash: To permanently delete the app, right-click on the Trash icon in the Dock and select "Empty Trash".

The vast majority of developers for pse are from India. I have multiple version fro pse 10 toi the most recent version. I unistall and reinstall 10 and 14 alot- never any issues with it. I do log out of the program before I unistall it. It sounds as if you can use Premier elements just fine, but cannot use the editor. They are two separate programs and have alway required separate purchases. In some instances both the editor and video editor have been offered as a package deal, but that doesn't happen as often as users think it might happen. both products have their own individual serial numbers. The serial number of pse always starts with 1057, and the video editor serial number always starts with 1143--- those serial numbers are found in the products area of your adobe account information. FOR EXAMPLE: I have the pse 2010 serial number listed at the bottom of my product page. Beginning with pse 2025 there are no more serial numbers to worry about- those products (pse 2025 and all future pse releases) are tied into the email account used for your main adobe account
