Version 26.4 Mac OS 15.2 When I draw a gradient and attempt to move the midpoint, I get a dialog box that says, “Could not use the Gradient Tool because of a program error.” This just started with the 26.4 update.

I have the Tools window oriented vertically on the left side of the screen. When I try to select a pop-up for one of the tools, the pop-up is hidden behind the window where I am editing my photo. This started recently. I just updated to Photoshop (Beta) 25.12.0 yesterday. Photoshop 25.11.0 behaves properly. Mac OS 14.5

Thanks. I changed those settings so long ago that I'd forgotten about them.

Please restore the center point to the Crop Tool. I regularly move the center point somewhere else in the image before rotating it. For instance, I might move the center point to an eye to rotate the head while keeping the eye in place. Why doe the beta version allow me to scroll the image beyond the border? In previous versions the image would quit scrolling when it reached the edge of the window. I find the new implementation very annoying.

I used the Photos app to check the EXIF on the iPad. The time zones are the same. Photoshop isn't the problem. Since my last post I AirDropped a copy of the photo from my iPad to my Mac and moved it into the folder for that session. The time in Bridge was an hour later than the other files created from the .CR2 file. The wording in my previous post was incorrect. It should have said: "I just took a copy of one of the photos that has an incorrect time from THE FOLDER ON MY MAC THAT I SYNC FILES FROM TO my iPad and moved it into the folder FOR THAT SESSION on my Mac. Bridge shows the correct time, so I assume that an update to the iPad OS software is the problem." The file created by Photoshop had the correct time when I moved a copy back into the session folder and viewed it in Bridge. A copy of the file that ended up on my iPad had a time an hour later. The time shifted during the syncing, so the Mac or iPad software is the problem.

I sort photos in Bridge, edit them in Photoshop and save them to my iPad. I just noticed that my recent iPad files are sorted in the wrong order. The EXIF date is one hour later than shown in Bridge. Photos saved separately and uploaded to my website have the correct time. I convert the Photoshop file to sRGB and Save a Copy in JPEG format in both cases. I'm not sure when this started. There are over 7000 photos on my iPad, and a time being off by an hour wouldn't stand out during normal use. I'm currently editing files from last June, and the files that I edited recently have an hour added to the EXIF data. The files that I edited from that folder in June have the correct time. That caused files from one location to be sorted with files from a later location that day.
